Excellent primetime debut:
- What more can I add about LAX that hasn't been said yet. Wait, I found something, they are the first xenophobic foreigners that haven't been portrayed as stupid. - I expect great things from Joe/Angle. Joe can pull a great match out of anyone, even the deadweight Scott Steiner. The best thing is that Angle still has fire in his heart. - It's kind of nice to see Johnny Devine fit into something again. - Hillarious Paparazzi skit. Great way to put over Nash's ego and Starr's rising credibility.

I agree. Excellent way to kick off their primetime debut. I don't think there was a bad match on the show. Showing Joe kill a b h was good in showing his dominance and refusing to releases the kokina clutch led to both showing how serious he is and showing how Sabin has changed into a cocky heel by not helping his teammate out. I liked how Team 3D put The Naturals over twice in the night. Both by the backstage interview with Brother Ray saying that the Naturals showed that they mattered and again by losing to them in their signature match. I also like that Shane Douglas took one for the team by going through the tables so they could regroup enough to get the win. The match between Christian Cage and Rhino was brutal and just great. You don't get to see that kind of blood on T.V. much anymore. The gore through the cage was a great end. I like them putting the X-Division title on Christopher Daniel's He deserves it. And it sets up a feud between Christian and A.J. And tension between Daniel's and A.J. as well. LAX is great like you said. The way they've been building them up has been excellent. I think what they did this week was really smart because people have been cheer Petey Williams for awhile now. I thought the match with Angle and Abyss was great as well. While I prefer Abyss over Angle there was no way they were going to let him win with Angle going into a match with Joe. And it doesn't hurt Abyss's rep to tap to the Ankle Lock. Many greats have in the past. I think it showed how tough he was that he held out as long as he did before tapping. TNA is on a roll right now and I really look forward to Genesis on Sunday.

Update so far, the crowd has been hot at LAX for their near flag-burning antics. You just got your wishes (and mine) Abyss is the new NWA champ due to Darth Borden being DQed. Angle and Joe just entered the ring and the crowd is chanting "This is awesome!"
Edit: Joe tapped out! Angle refused to shake the man's hand.

I'm behind and didn't finish watching that TNA special until a few minutes ago. The exciting ending made me think back to the WCW Nitro days. I didn't know the NWA title could change hands on a DQ. :duh:

Wow what a great PPV!!! I like where they are taking Matt Bentley, Frankie Kazarian and Johnny Devine. Yes they lost against VKM but that brought out Raven which finally confirmed he was the one connected to them. I liked how they punished Devine for the loss and him taking it. Those welts on his back were brutal. I thought the X-Division Title match was great. I really like how Sabin is showing an attitude. Having Jerry Lynn come down and make him shake Daniel's hand was great. Especially when he turned around and hit the Cradle Shock anyway. I think there's dissension in the ranks with The Paparazzi. Maybe it was just me but it seemed like Starr took his time with the camera on purpose. I think the pairing of Hoyt and Killings is kind of funny. Seeing Hoyt try to dance is priceless. The Christian Cage and AJ Styles match was pretty good if slower than AJ's usual matches. I found the ending interesting. Since AJ helped Daniel's earlier it wasn't surprising he'd come to help AJ. Having Rhino come out to try to calm the situation down was interesting. AJ's response wasn't very face like. It makes me wonder if they plan on having him go heel? The last time he was heel was with Russo as booker so it wouldn't surprise me. About the LAX/America's Most Wanted match. Before it happened they talked to them backstage. I know we are supposed to see LAX as the heels and AMW as the faces. But the thing that were said by both teams make you wonder. LAX said that they were American citizens and had the right to burn the American flag. I agree they do have that right. Not that I think burning the flag is a good thing. But it is a right. Also they brought up the fact that America started a unnecessary war and that the Government caters to and worries about corporations and not the citizens. I agree with all of that BIG TIME! Then AMW gets on and says that the First Amendment protects LAX from the Government about burning the flag but doesn't protect LAX from them. Basically saying it's o.k. to beat someone up if they disagree with your politics. Then they said that all LAX was good for was swimming and drywalling and to finish their garage. That's a good way to be a face. By showing racism. I was rooting for LAX to win after that. I know a lot of wrestling fans are racist or homophobic etc. It's a shame they keep pushing that it's o.k. I actually don't like them stripping them of the titles Claiming it's due to them threatening to burn a flag. And judging by the booing I think some of the fans there weren't too happy about it either. I loved the title match. It was great to see them use the disqualification rule again. They haven't mention that since the early days of TNA. I can remember a few title changes on DQ's back then. I found it interesting that the fans seemed to be turning on Sting a bit towards the end of the match. But I guess when your face champ is acting like a heel them turning isn't surprising. I'm surprised and EXTREMELY pleased that Abyss is the champ. The Joe versus Angle match was excellent. Definitely living up to the hype. I can't wait for the rematch. Definitely a match of the year candidate.

Vince Russo is now in effect:
- So with the help of the U. S. legal system (which actually has a good record of correcting injustices when someone points one out), LAX has gone from heels to mavericks. I liked the potential of the main event, which should have been on a PPV; all four ment are great workers (just do a Youtube search). - I like the new pissed off A. J. Styles. Sadly, he still needs to work on acting skills to remove the monotony in his voice. - Nice to see some character development in Chirs Parks, I mean Abyss. - I am a bit bothered by Eric Young's new challenge from Traci Brooks. I wouldn't mind it if it was another wrestler, but Showtime does not have the body for very little clothing. This man did not look good when he briefly switched to short trunks in 2005. I do not want to see his bare legs again.

I do not want to see his bare legs again. Yeah they've definitely been doing things to make you feel like cheering LAX more than hating them. I don't know if that's a good move or not. But I'm not surprised. Every wrestling site talks about how great they are so them eventually turning fan favorite is inevitable. A.J. is showing more character than he has in awhile. Which is good. He's a great wrestler. But that isn't the only thing that makes a wrestler great. This Abyss storyline is very interesting. They are trying to give more of a back story to Abyss which is good. ANd having Sting doing the preaching thing actually plays to his strengths right now. I love that they brought Tomko in. He was great with Christian Cage in the WWE so of course he'll be a good fit in TNA. I don't understand why they are doing something so stupid with Eric Young. I know he's been a comedy character but there's a point where it gets ridiculous. I hope they don't keep pushing it. Eric is very entertaining and I'd hate if they dragged him down with stupidity.

Turning Point was yet again a great TNA PPV! Kevin Nash on Commentary is always great. It was nice to see Senshi win the PCS though I'm not sure what winning it gets you. They didn't explain that. Maybe a shot at the X-Division title? Also it's obvious that Shelley and Starr are going to end up in a feud eventually. They've been backbiting each other for weeks now. The bikini contest wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Thanks mostly to how humorous Eric Young was. It will be interesting to see if Roode and Brooks are successful in getting him to join them. I was happy to see Lynn get more involved after Daniels beat Sabin. If it means Jerry Lynn comes back and wrestles I'm all for it. A match between him and The Fallen Angel could be awesome. I think the baseball stuff was pretty stupid. But it will bring more main stream exposure to TNA so I guess that's not a bad thing. The match between A.J. Styles and Rhino was brutal. Almost to a hardcore level match in its intensity. How neither was significantly hurt with how hard they were hitting I'll never know. And A.J.'s personality and ability to act has greatly improved lately. He had me believing he was actually hurt when he went over the top rope and onto the floor. The Flag match wasn't too bad either. Though I'm glad the feud is over. I'm kind of sick of AMW. I couldn't side with them during the feud due to the blatant racism that they were spouting. Is it just me or is Hernandez getting even bigger? I think they need to drop this stupid VKM crap. It's just giving free advertising to the WWE and it's obvious that they'll never accept any challenge thrown out. I loved that Abyss retained the title. I had a bad feeling he was only going to hold it for a month tops. So I'm thrilled he won. The rematch between Joe and Angle was even better than the original. They put on one Hell of a match and the intensity was amazing. I haven't seen Angle this motivated or intense in probably 2-3 years. ANd Joe has definitely stepped up his game. Also it was quite a rub for Joe to be able to get Angle to tap out. A great PPV. I look forward to iMPACT! Oh BTW here's a quick preview of the upcoming TNA video game.

So much for the Naturals' push. I actually liked the reborn Naturals who actually showed aggression against Team 3D, only to be flattened later. Lets hope that 2007 is a better year for Chase Stevens.

That's a real shame if it ends up being true. Andy Douglas was the one on the Team I liked the most. But I think I know why he'd be the one they'd let go. Back when they started the Naturals with Shane Douglas and they wanted them to do a make over including a haircut I guess Andy Douglas really pulled a attitude over having to cut his hair. You'd think being given the opportunity for a push he'd get over it and be willing to work with them. But UI guess he really made an ass out of himself.

TNA Final Resolution results:
- Raven beats up more Serotonin guys - Lance Hoyt defeated Chase Stevens. Continuation of basebrawl. - Rhino defeated the new heelish A. J. Styles. - Sabin pinned Lynn after Mr. JL creadledrove Daniels. - Shelley deafted Austin Starr, leading to an arguement with Nash. Backlund snapped on Starr. - Storm defeated Petey Williams. Refferee Rudy Charles attempted to restart the match, but Petey was handcuffed. Gail Kim attempted to intervene but was blocked by Jacquelin. - Christy Hemme slaps Kip James for making crude comments about women in wrestling. - LAX won by DQ when Brother Runt came back. - Kurt Angle defeats Joe at 3-2. Angle tapped out during the bell. - Abyss gets eliminated. Mitchell assists the new champion Christian Cage.
Update: Konnan will be out for a while, due to his hip replacement and kidney surgery. He will not be seen for the next few weeks, since he wont make it back in time for the upcoming tapings. I hope he comes back soon to lead LAX against Team 3D; the LAX angle seems to have revived him back to nWo levels.

Poor guy.
If only a fraction of the US population only donated a dollar, the cost would easily be covered.

He's also looking for a kidney donation last I heard. I guess he's hoping a fan with his blood type might step forward. I hope he's able to get the transplant and everything works out.

I was watcing some show about TNA last week. It was cool to see the NEW AGE OUTLAWS together again. Don't know what they are called at TNA but it's still cool. They used to give away free tickets in Orlando for TNA but I never made it over there to Orlando. I almost went a couple of times. I saw Jimmy Hart walking around at Universal Studios promoting the show. That was a few years ago though. Looks like TNA has gotten some higher profile guys now.

I'm glad the Voodoo Kin Mafia stopped with the pointless attacking of the WWE in every promo they did. All that was doing is giving free advertising for the WWE. I've really been enjoying the angle with Abyss and Sting. Also having Steiner come back is great.
