At this point in time, it is Lugosi by default. I have not seen Caradine's performance. The only time I have seen Lugosi as Vlad was in that Abbot and Costello movie, which was good cheesy, over-the-top fun. I can't remember much about Lee's performances.
Slighty off-topic: Another great Dracula was the man who did his voice in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. His voice was the most over-the-top and opera like of all time; sadly he was not evil.

Pretty freaking cool. Though what they are asking for S&H is ridiculous. It's a sticker not a book. LOL

Lugosi was the man. Whenever I think of a vampire, he's who I think of.

He changed the way vampires were viewed forever. Up until his performance as Dracula vampires were ugly creatures. He brought a sexy seductiveness to them.

And just think that was how Lugosi naturally talked! He was the real deal through and through... There was no separation between Lugosi and the character of Dracula. None....

And thank God for that. Because he made the character an Icon.

Bela is Dracula! Why is John Caridine the only othe choice on the poll? I actually liked his performances, but Lon Chaney Jr. was a great count as well. Christopher Lee , Frank Langela, and Richard Roxburgh should be on the poll too.
