This is the movie that should get the 0 option for sure.Horrible, terrible, ridiculous and a shame and disgrace to the whole franchise. They had a perfect end to a series in H20 and the allmighty dollar called them back for more. What a lame excuse to say that wasnt Michael and he switched with an EMT in H20.Cmon now, why does Michael do that and why does he attack Laurie and hold out his hand to her.Thats so silly and I went to the movies and watched it once, and never again. Then they had Busta Rhymes kickin his ass looking silly.I absolutely hate this movie and I dont say that about maybe a handful of movies at most.Disgusting. :Die:

I hate the fact that this movie is even associated with the Halloween franchise. I liked H20 but did not think it was great. So after that I hope resurrestion would have a bit more to do with previous movies but also to start a new storyline. And what did we get? Kids being chased around a house.
It was the most predictable and pointless movie I have ever had the dis-pleasure to watch. I hate the fact that Rick Rosenthaul directed this after giving us a great movie like Halloween 2!

But other than the Myers House burning down, I liked it. i agree. and only the garage burined down it gust looked like the whole house bernt down. I just watched it today and the whole house burned down not just the garage... there was a HUGE empty space there... anyone else think it was'nt the whole house that burnt down?
The other thing I hated about this movie was the whole f-ing thing was shot in the dark... I could barely even see anything. That's so annoying.

Michael Myers looked great in this, costume and such, but aside from that, not much else can be said.
Again, no Dr. Loomis, no decent plot, and Busta Rhymes being placed in a movie reminds us that the 80s have no chance of ever returning.

Ya know what truly sucks about busta Rymes being there is that he compromises LL Cool J's great performance in H2O.
LL was absolutley PERFECT in H2O, he gave a great performance and it was an excellent casting job! He was right for the role and he fit right in! Let's not forget the fact that he is an actual actor! A real actor... He was also big in the 80's which gave it a good feel as well. Yet now that Busta had to be in 8 for some reason it makes the genral thought "Oh god another rapper in Halloween movies..." meaning that now LL Cool J maybe should'nt have been there either.... That's one main reason I hate the fact that he's there. He also played to the camera too much while LL was very real and you can just tell he knew what to do.

He was great in Deep Blue Sea.
In fact, he was the ONLY reason I liked Deep Blue Sea.

Sometimes thinking about H2O and rememebring him in it is what makes me put it on sometimes That's strange lol I don't know what it is about him but I just think he rules! He was excellent in this one Jen Lopez video too! It was one where it was like winter in NY or something. It was great! And my top 5 song ever in my life was from him. I posted it in the Greatest Songs ever Thread but nobody responded.

Should have stayed dead in my opinion! The only part of this one I really liked was how they brought Michael back, that Laurie killed the wrong guy.

I watched Resurection last night. I thought i wasnt that bad meself.. I thought the part where Mr Ryhmes was mouthing of to Mike was pretty funny. Mike just turns around and walks off..
I would of preffered him to take him out though.

Why couldn't they just have brought back the Thorn Story from this point on in the Franchise. 0/5, Thats what I give it. Is there anymore Pointless sequel out there then this? After the First 15 minutes of the movie It went straight downhill, I can't even believe that it made in more money then H2.

I gave this one a 3 out of 5. I really liked the concept of the movie and thought it was a unique and intriguing idea to have a "reality show" -- much better than the Friday 13th attempts at taking Jason outside of his domain [part 8 and 10]. But in the end the acting was pretty bleh -- especially Busta Rymes. Geez... the guy is so horrible.

H20 was ok...But all the acting besides Jamie Lee Curtis and Janet Liegh sucked. Josh Harnett...and Michelle Williams??? What where they thinking.
Ressurection was good, well atleast the first 15 minutes was good, If jamie lee actually doesn't want to do another Halloween film, then I'll be ok with the way her character was sent off...she had one of the most poetic death scenes in the history of cinema.
After Laurie dies, the movie kinda gets cheesy...but it's a hell of a lot better than 3, 5, and 6

Halloween: Resurrection was pretty shitty... The plot of them searching his home was also stupid. Having a rap star in this movie was stupid as well, Busta(Freddy) wasn't as bad as LL Cool(Rodnie) but they still both kinda flopped over dead. I don't think this movie completely ruined the franchise was close to it.
-2 Stars.

LL Cool J is great in his movie roles, I have no idea why that is, but it is. Deep Blue Sea, the only reason I liked that movie was for his character, and in H20 it wasn't overdone like Busta Rhymes in Resurrection.
I think LL Cool J knows what he's doing, or else he wouldn't accept a role to just 'be cool'.

He only basically got the role because having a 'rap star' in a movie would get them higher ratings possibly, they tried that with Busta, but they didn't fool horror fans. LL Cool J did an alright job in Deep Blue Sea but not the best. His role in H20 was crappy...IMO.

At the time of Resurrection and Deep Blue Sea he wasn't having many hits, and was almost forgotten so I don't think it was due to his rap status. I should also elaborate on my use of 'accepts', I mean he wouldn't try out for the role and take it if it wasn't worth it. Besides, LL Cool J's characters don't belittle the slashers, like Kelly Rowland's did to Freddy Krueger -- that was ridiculous.

He wasn't forgotten, why do you think they portraid him in the movie?... because they thought it would help the series(which it didn't)...
