The beginning was the best part of the movie. I loved Daeg Faerh. I still loved the rest of the movie. Scout Taylor Compton was awesome, Kristan Klebe was awesome for as much time as we got to see her. Danielle Harris was awesome too.
I give it a 5/5 because I loved it.

no movie where Michael as a child is a pig face looking girl will ever be a good movie, I mean are you kidding me? that kid belongs on a Barney episode

Daeg was awesome.. And he isn't a pig face, and definetly doesn't look like a girl.

This new Halloween is a very sensitive subject,Its causing a major Halloween war across the internet. Like i told Demon in an earlier Private message. I've lost about 4 or 5 friends here on CLAD because of it. But thats not going to stop me from voicing how i feel about it.
The bottom line is this.... It pisses me off when i see people totally throw away Carpenters Halloween for the mess Zombie called himself Remaking.
I never wanted to see Michael Myers's mom shaking her ass in front of men.
I never wanted to hear all the cussing.
Zombie took a film of class and turned it into a low disgrace of a film.
Every thing Zombie did was the complete opposite of what Carpenter did.
That is not remaking

Well yeah, He did say hes making it into his own thing. A re-imaging. And im glad he did that. It would be boring to see the same thing again. It would be boring if we all liked/hated the same thing.
Youll allways be my friend XN. A movie isnt gonna destroy us.

Xn is right in that this remake is dividing people all over.
I thought Daeg did a good job all things considered (bad script and bad directing at times).

You'll always be my friend too man,I just hope people who do like the new Halloween never throw away or forget the original. I don't have anything against remakes(i love the TCM remake) Its just when i saw Mike's Mom on stage along with the other stuff i saw. That just turned me off. In the TCM remake it was different from the original but they never passed the line. In the new Halloween IMO zombie passed the line with the cussing, stripper thing etc...

But Zombie fanboys all over the internet have set the original aside. I don't take them seriously though.

I sincerely hope that any comments I've made about the remake haven't offended anyone. I try to respect everyone's opinion, but RZ's Halloween just isn't my thing. That's not to say that I've completely wrote it off though as I've only seen the movie once. As I've said before, I wasn't a fan of the original Dawn of the Dead the first time I saw it. It wasn't until subsequent viewings that I really started to appreciate it. Now it's one of my all-time favorite horror movies. I don't see the Halloween remake doing the same, but ya never know.

alright then explain this Sandman ( the kid is pig faced) how could a I'm guessing 10 year old boy who its just over 4 feet tall with long blounde hair turn into a 6 foot 8 killing machine? the kid doesn't even seem pyscotic in the movie enough to where I'll buy it, I know they couldn't find a kid who was exactally like the original but to a have a cubby, short, blounde hair kid play the role was just wrong
once more thing that really ticks me off about this movie in the original Michael is described as a boy who never talks, has a blank expression on his face and has no regrets. but it this pile of crap he's talking and having a good old time like nothing ever happened. Loomis could never get into his mind becasue he would never resopnd to him. I could go on and on about this movie but i'll stop

He blocked out memories of killing his family.

yes ur right but that to me makes no sense. lets say he did block out all the memories of killing his family, why would he go after his sister then? how would he even know who his sister is?
I'm not calling anyone out who liked this movie, your entitiled to your opinion and thats a good thing, I'm just totally against this movie

alright then explain this Sandman ( the kid is pig faced) Daeg's appearance is beside the point H13. He's just a kid.The film itself is what people are expressing their opinions on. Everything else that doesn't deal with the film directly is irrelevant.
