He has his legacy and doesn't need to prove anything to anyone, especially regarding the remake and its fans.

It makes you wonder why they'd let a retard like that do an interview with him. Or why they'd think those questions were good enough to post.

A toddler could think up better questions.

This just makes you respect Mr. Carpenter even more..the man takes time out of his day to talk to losers like the one he was talking too in the interview..
We love Mr. Carpenter he doesn't need to prove himself to anybody..the man is a walking ,breathing Horror god.

I tried to like Ghosts Of Mars, but couldn't really get into it.

Those questions were horrible! It is interviewers like that who make some celeb's shy off from doing anymore. If I had a chance to chat with JC, I would be like Rocky getting ready for a big match! I would want to make that 10 or 15 minutes I spend with him good enough to last forever. Ironic how some people back then thought he pissed on The Thing considering how some feel RZ pissed on Halloween. The Thing is one of my favorite remakes!

I agree, this interview is really bad. I can't say I blame him for shying away! But, even tho', thats how it is, I will be forever thankful to him and Debra Hill for the original! Thank you!

I tried to like Ghosts Of Mars, but couldn't get into it. I saw it for the first time the other day and I actually enjoyed it. I wasn't really expecting to as sci-fi/action/horror usually isn't my cup of tea but it just worked for me. That was the worst interview I've ever read, by the way.

Carpenter was as pro as possible in that one. I agree also. Even with the sexual questions about Michael he carried himself well. I can just imagine the confused look on his face when the interviewer started asking those from the start. I bet his look was like WTF?

Alot of celebrities would've probably terminated the interview once questions like those were asked. Carpenter is truly a professional.

I know after the first stupid question I would have done one of two things either got up and left or slapped the shit out of them. Hell I probably would have done both. LOL
