Can you believe the Blockbuster that I have a monthly plan of $25 a month for unlimited rentals STILL DID NOT GET LAND OF THE DEAD IN YET! I wont go into detail as to why I rent rather then buy movie's but let's just say I used to get them every Tuesday at Best Buy but decided to go the other route for the last 2 years. It's helped my bank plenty!
Well anyway so I go there today and they STILL DONT HAVE LAND OF THE DEAD A WEEK LATER OR HOUSE OF WAX YET! WTF is going on with these people.... I was so pissed I just said "Fuck this sh*t! I'm cancelling my monthly plan here..." after asking about the two movies and her seeing the look on my face when she told me there still not there and me saying what I said she didn't argue with me about canceliing the $25 a month plan.... There's nothing I even want there anymore... they have NO selection at all, and can't even get movies in on time! Death to BB!

never liked Blockbuster, I had an account and they ended up charging me for a late movie that was like 2 days early!! They did it twice and I pretty much said the same thing you did ;D I go to Hollywood Video. For one thing, it has a waaay better selection of movies and another thing, lots of smokin hott chicks work there.

NetFlix is taking over now, so within the next few years Blockbuster, Hollywood Video, all of them, will be eradicated.
Same thing with movies, eventually we'll all be able to order movies that come out on television, or online, as opposed to after they've been out for a while and run on Pay-per-Views.
Technology is taking over.

I don't have to worry about this type of stuff because I'm not into renting movies.

Thats weird Blockbuster over here is not to bad for films... We get magazines in the shop that tells us the release dates so we know there gonna be in on that date... Ive never had a problem..
Looks like Blockbusters Usa need to get there arse's into gear and sort there stuff out!

Here we go again... I walk into this hole excuse for a rental store and ask for Ed Wood and they don't even have it! Jesus Christ man! Is there a competent place a person can rent a movie from these days without going on line? I mean damn.... It's unreal...
Jesus....

I don't like the selection at Blockbuster either, and I have to buy most of the movies I like. Imagine trying to find something like Night Of The Demons or Zombi 2 at Blockbuster. Have you tried Netflix? www.netflix.comThey apparently have everything.

The thing with Blockbuster is they dont have a clue when it comes to Horror.. They get in al the latest ones but when it comes to the older movies they have very few.
Our Blockbusters has a very limited amount of Horror.. I f i wanted to watch Zombies like the one Jeremy made a thread about i woudnt even bother looking for it because its not gonna be there.. Blockbusters over here is great for new stuff but its poor when it comes to old stuff.
I Guess within communties most people want to watch latest releases and maybe the odd old movie..
Blockbuster see cult films or old stuff as non profit..

Yea but look at my first post here! They didn't even have Land of the Dead for a friggin week! They are losers and I can't wait till the pathetic frachise (if you wanna call it that) closes and falls flat on it's face. Blockbuster has always been a low end rental chain that just became popular because they had funding for commercials.
