; Wow...I had no idea that this occured, though I don't really drink soda all that much anyway, so I guess I'm safe, I'll try to cut down on what I do consume though. Thanks for the info, Tommy!

No problem dude
By the way a funny story today...
The guy who had his house robbed with Mrs. V slept over last night, his name here is Jason X. And for breakfast till 5pm from what I know this is what he had to eat.
3 cans of coke 4 Grape Ice Pops and a bag of BBQ Chips I told him his body is going to go into shock. ;D
Thats 112 grams of sugar in all that soda in liquid form going right into his veins Man I don't know how he does it... lol
Now I need someone to finish off my Dr. Pepper and I'm all set to move on with my life from soda.

Now I need someone to finish off my Dr. Pepper and I'm all set to move on with my life from soda. If I was closer I'd take it off your hands. My regular pop that I drink is Wal-Marts version of Diet Dr. Pepper. But I do like the occasion regular Dr. Pepper.

Wow! I mean wow!!!! That's alot of sugar. What about the ones that are diet and say no sugar or low sugar? Are those just as bad? It's basically impossible to have a no sugar diet, just about everything has sugar. But if you happen to have a low count you'll be very tired I was told. The human body should only intake a max of 30 grams of sugar per day. And that's being generous... one can of soda puts you over that limit... and chances are just from eating all day you'll hit the 30 grams... and if you happen to drink two cans of soda

Instead of Snapple, try making pitchers of sugar free Kool Aid or Crystal Light.
The Wal-Mart brand also has sugar free drink crystals.

Yea BC lol
Jeremy you're right! I just discoverd something... I should have read more carefully.. one bottle of Snapple has 48 grams of sugar! If you read better it says that one bottle is 2 servings! So it's really 24 times 2! So I'm right back where I started... only without the chemicals of soda...Check this out At present, the USDA recommends limiting added sugars, from packaged foods and the sugar bowl, to:
24 grams a day (6 teaspoons) if you eat 1,600 calories 40 grams (10 teaspoons) for a 2,000-calorie diet 56 grams (14 teaspoons) for a 2,400-calorie diet, and 72 grams (18 teaspoons) for a 2,800-calorie diet.
As you can see, this is even less than 12 teaspoons (48 grams) of a sugar a day recommended by the recent WHO's report for an average 2,000-calorie diet.
What you should do then? First of all, cut back on:
soft drinks (40 grams of sugar per 12 ounces) - nutritionally empty "liquid candy" - by far the biggest source of sugar in the average American's diet fruit "drinks," "beverages," "ades," and "cocktails" as they are essentially non-carbonated soda pop; Sunny Delight, Fruitopia, and other fruit juices have only 5-10 percent juice and are loaded with calories and can be as fattening as pop candy, cookies, cakes, pies, doughnuts, granola bars, pastries, and other sweet baked goods fat-free cakes, cookies, and ice cream as they may have as much added sugar as their fatty counterparts and they're often high in calories ("fat-free" on the package doesn't mean fat-free on your waist or thighs).
Instead drink water, eat more vegetables and low-sweet fruits. And don't worry about the natural sugars from them.
Look for breakfast cereals that have no more than eight grams (about 2 teaspoons) of sugar per serving.
Watch out for sweets - ice cream, shakes, and pastries - served in restaurants. Their huge servings can provide a day's worth of added sugar.
For example, a large McDonald's Vanilla Shake and a Cinnabon each have 12 teaspoons (about 48 grams) of added (free) sugar.
If we were eating just all vegetables and some fruits and getting our sugars just from there we would be way better off.Source

Snapple may have some fruit juice, but like many other fruit drinks, it is mostly sugar.
As a rule, I also have no sugar added candy and sugar free gum.
Right now, I am having some vanilla yogurt that is fat free and sweetened with sucralose instead of aspartame.

Thanks for the info. I usually have 1-2 sodas every couple days (I love me some Mountain Dew!) and thus far it has done me no harm. But I've got low blood sugar and have to keep glucose tablets on me - not sure if that makes any difference? But yeah, too much of the stuff is pretty hard on your body. Not to mention your teeth! My favorite drink is Chai tea. I don't add sugar to it, but they'll take away my Chai when they pry it from my cold, dead hands! Tommy ya better go warn Kel from Keenan and Kel show coz he loves the orange soda! He does he does he doeeesss! I loved that show! Kel loves orange soda, eh? Is it truuuuue?
