The Shining easily. Interesting though, Rose Red is the only one on this list I haven't seen. Looks like I have to check it out now.

I'm a big fan of The Mist, but when a list has The Shining, it's almost no question that I pick it. Top 5 or 6 consistently for me.
I like Storm of the Century a lot too, great atmosphere. Like Chainsaw said, Red Rose is a no show for myself as well.

Christine, and I dont even have to think about. You didnt have it on your poll though. Sleepwalkers is on there and thats probably the worst Stephen King film IMO. I also really enjoy The Mangler, Thinner, Silver Bullet and Graveyard Shift, films that arent considered to be good by most.

I went with Children of the Corn. The Shining used to be my favorite until I took a class in college that ruined it for me.

I like all those movies, even Sleepwalkers is watchable. Storm of the Century was a pleasant surprise and I love the atmosphere as jlaw said, the "killer" was a great character and a very good concept. I love horror in snow as well. The Mist was very good as well. Children of the Corn is good and Pet Semetary is a great watch every October. Zelda scares me and of course it's a good story.
I also enjoy Christine. All of his movies are watchable but all of the books are better.
I am interested in this class FireStar, how could it have ruined such a masterpiece?

It was a Modern Literature class. We watched the film and my professor stopped the movie every 15 minutes or so I'd say to dissect it. He came up with all kinds of hidden meanings at every turn that just came out of left field and made no sense at all, and now every time I watch it I can't just sit back and enjoy it like I used to. It not the same movie to me anymore and I hate that because I used to love it. This class is also the reason why I don't like Citizen Kane he did the exact same thing to it when we watched it.

Out of the ones you have listed, Pet Sematary. I also really enjoyed Needful Things, Carrie, Silver Bullet, and Graveyard Shift.

Carrie .... without a doubt.
Since it's not on the list - I went with Pet Cemetary. My 2nd fav would be Christine.
And the Mist is absolutely fantastic.

My father used to do this and it absolutely drove me crazy every single time.
There was a point where I could no longer stand "The Karate Kid" for many years!
;D

Then you know what I mean after a while its just not the same anymore when you watch it. I'm just glad he didn't show Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas, I can only imagine what he'd have done to that one. ;D

Well I am not voting in the official poll only because The Stand is not included. It was bar none the best Stephen King book I ever read. The movie of corse was not as good but was ALMOST as good. Screenplay speaking, and cast speaking. It had a feel from the beginning that made it feel special, and by the end.....NO SPOILERS!!!!! Made me feel in tune with every single character good or bad. If there is a thread about the stand point me to it, if not let me know I would love to start a thread about it to talk about it. But as far as the poll choices go if I voted it would be for IT.

Don't kill me but I've never actually seen that one. Do yourself a favor and watch it. To me it is a masterpiece. If you party at all it's best to enter this movie with a buzz on I must say.
If not, it is still a masterpiece but takes multiple viewings and an open mind to appreciate it's mastery.
