Hope you all take a day this week to watch it so more people can discuss it in it's thread

Oh this is GREAT NEWS! Thanks so much for posting this Demon, I really wanted to see this one! Are you planning on posting a new classic horror film every week or something like that?

Thanks for this Demon. Hopefully things like this will get people talking in the Classic Horror section, I hate seeing it so dead.

I wish I had the time. Maybe I could watch my DVD this week at work though.
I just finally got [REC] so I can't wait to get that in my player first.

So did anyone actually watch this yet? I'm kinda running low on ideas of how to kick start CLAD back into a more active place. Everyone just isn't into everything. I sent a mass PM and only like 6 people responded to this out of the 25 weekly regulars we have. Zero of them watched it, or said they watched it and commented on it.
i have a feeling CLAD wont be the active enough place to keep coming too it once was in the future. I just don't really know what else to add here after 4 years and 8 months of doing things.

I really don't know if there's much else you can do Demon. I know its starting to sound like a broken record but hopefully it'll pick back up in time again. Maybe around the time the new Friday DVD comes out. My problem with watching anything like this on YouTube is the fact that I'm still on dial-up and it takes 15- 20 minutes to download something thats not even 4 or 5 minutes long. So I need alot of time just to download a whole film not to mention watch it afterward.

Wow I didn't even know they still offered dial up internet access. That sucks. Wouldn't it be cheaper for you to Pay $99 a month for phone, internet and cable instead of you paying $40 for phone and $70 for cable TV?
I don't think CLAD ever will pick up ever. If the new movie didn't do it... nothing will... we just don't have the traffic I guess. The web site didn't help matters either.
I will always keep CLAD open for the 10 regulars we hopeful will always have. As far as any growth here i am not even going to get my hopes up because it's basically impossible.

Oh, goodie goodie! FREE STUFF! ;D
It was strange to see chaney playing a vampire, i'm just so used to seeing him as the wolfman. He pulled it off, but it was such a change. The acting was good, a nice vampire flick, but I'm going to focous the most on who's playing the count, again, lon chaney. Chaney is one of my favorite actors for a reason - he was the greatest werewolf in history. I saw Chaney as Frankenstein's monster in, the Ghost of Frankenstein I believe, and I wasnt...too...crazy over him as the Monster. He pulled off all three, wolfman, Dracula, and Frank's monster, but which one do I enjoy him the most and can REALLY compliment him - when he's the Wolfman. Maybe I'm just paranoid because I'm not seeing Lugosi as Dracula.
This film was pretty swell. I havent watched classic horror in a long time unfortunately, so seeing this, and for free, was a real treat, and thanks so very much for that Demon. And as I saw you mention, and I agree, when he changes into a bat, it actually looks like he is (finally). It really took me back to the classic hororr era, and this movie will most certainly leave a mark on me.

Wouldn't it be cheaper for you to Pay $99 a month for phone, internet and cable instead of you paying $40 for phone and $70 for cable TV? The problem with that for me is that I have Direct Tv and it can't be hooked in that way. All I need is the wireless card for my laptop which I'm hoping to get in the next month or so and then I can switch over. BTW great review Abraxas, your right the bat transformation is great, I'm always impressed when I see it.

I haven't had it in about 10 years either, that's how long I've been on Direct TV. Other than a few shows I never watch anything but movies on it, mostly ones I don't have on DVD.

I still remember a few years ago when Demon introduced me to classic horror.Theres no way i could get certified in horror without watching all the classics.I own them all,and enjoy them all very much. I liked son of Drac but my fav is still Drac's daughter.I really love that movie because i feel in love with that woman.
Son of drac was def way ahead of its time.Just look at that awesome bat transformation scene..wow.I also went deeper into classic horror with films like Strait Jacket, Alfred Hitchcock's Rebecca and Spider Baby. Great great films.
