- Money With that I could handle almost anything else to come up. 2006... what a year. While I still feel money is important - not essential - in life, I would like to add a few things. Comfort. Not in the sense of a comfy chair, but more along the lines of the future. Security, if you will. A kid would be nice. An active daily role, a.k.a. "a job", that I actually look forward to going to. I suppose the appropriate term would be a career. Time. When you're young it goes by fast, and when you're getting older, sometime around your early 20s, it begins to accelerate. I say this not in the sense of having more time, but in how time is used. So many have back breaking occupations, have to be overseas due to military commitments, and the various cities with their various social circles. Technology has made everything available almost instantaneously, but it has also removed the ability to actually cherish - and know why you cherish - the time offered. Life, to me, is about doing what you feel compelled or 'purposed' to do... or so I still tell myself. I have very few regrets in life, because most of them are what I wanted at the time, but those few I would like to go back and redo. I wanted to rush through the easiest stage of developing friends - childhood. Even though I was always able to find someone, or someones, to hang out with, and I was cool with all the cliques throughout my early education, I never invested too deeply into them. That about covers it, I believe.
