I used to watch it because there was nothing else on that summer except the Howard Stern E! Show at night... they were okay. Nothing I'd buy though.

Ya know I first saw the Simpsons version of that in the Treehouse of Horrors episode. It was famous because Homer was 3-D claymation. Well anyway, I actually thought the TZ version fell short of the Simpson's redo. I know that sounds so stupid but I'm serious. I wasn't big on it after seeing what I felt was a better version. ;D

a cool story I have about Rod Sterling
My Forensics teacher this year used to work ot the local county Morge some years ago and she processed and examied the some of the bodies that came in
well I guess when Rod was sent to the hospitail for what I think was lung cancer it was one of the ones in the Rochester area and when he died his body went to the morge she was working at when she found out it was him she did something that still shocks me to this day when they where removing the body of all the inner organs and such she took some and brought them home with her she told our class this story and also said that she still has some of the organs from Rod Streling and she even brought one in and showed us it
she's a very bazar women as you can tell

This is Demon, age twenty-eight, a man protected by a suit of armor all held together by one bolt. Just a moment ago, someone removed the bolt, and Demons protection fell away from him and left him a naked target. He's been cannonaded this afternoon by all the enemies of his life. His insecurity has shelled him, his sensitivity has straddled him with humiliation, his deep-rooted disquiet about his own worth has zeroed in on him, landed on target, and blown him apart. Demon, message board administrator, who in just a moment will move into the Twilight Zone—in a desperate search for survival.
Demon is message board administrator who has grown exasperated with the stress of the business end and whilst being unable to sleep properly at home, constantly drifts off for short naps on the train during his daily commuting and dreams of a peaceful place called "Willoughby." After he finally snaps at his message board, he exits the train while in his dream so he can live in Willoughby. In reality, he jumped off the train to his death. His body is eventually loaded into a hearse owned by Willoughby & Son Funeral Home.
Willoughby? Maybe it's wishful thinking nestled in a hidden part of a man's mind, or maybe it's the last stop in the vast design of things, or perhaps, for a man like Demon, who climbed on a world that went by too fast, it's a place around the bend where he could jump off. Willoughby? Whatever it is, it comes with sunlight and serenity, and is a part of the Twilight Zone.

This is such a classic show and one of my favorites as well. I'll own it on DVD one day since it is getting more and more affordable.
One memory I have with the show is watching one of the marathons over my cousins' house when I was younger. The last episode I was watching before we had to leave was when the one where the guy had his face wrapped up in the hospital and you were waiting for the big reveal. I was absolutely dragged out of the house since it was past time to go, I thought that was cruel and unusual punishment. I didn't see the episode until years later and it was just so masterfully done.
