I was wondering if there are any NBA fans here. If you are what is your favorite team. Oh and NBA IMO is better than the NFL, lol....
I love the Miami Heat, even though they are losing almost every game this season. D Wade is still the best!!!

that's a bold statement to say the NBA is better than the NFL my NBA is the 76ers who look like they might barley make the playoffs this year

I liked basketball in the Jordan era. I stopped during the Kobie Brian era.

Yep, I love the NBA. I remember when I first started watching the game back during the 1995 playoffs when the Rockets got through a gauntlet of good teams in the West and then demolished the Magic in the Finals. My first full season was the next year, the 1995-1996 season. Living in Massachusetts, I naturally attached myself to the Celtics, who had their worst season in franchise history the year after that, losing 67 games. That's how much I loved the game, to watch a team like that, lose on a nightly basis. I have vivid memories of getting screwed out of Tim Duncan, that I relived last year when we got screwed out of Oden. To live through the Pitino era, where he did his best to destroy a franchise and set it back for another ten years. Naturally, things worked out as we all know, as the team is now up 1-0 in the ECF finals.
I know all too well some people will be like "Well, he only likes the C's b/c they're winning". Hell no, I'm a Celtics fan and proud, and this season has been so gratifying because I've been through the mostly losing years, where 2002 was the one bright spot when Paul Pierce single handily led us to the ECF against the Nets where we fought hard, but lost in 6 games.
I've rocked a Celtics jersey for years, mostly getting snickers from my fellow Massachusetts sports fans. Let me tell you from first hand experience, that there are a ton of fairweather fans around here. When the fans at the games and the team is winning, it is no doubt electric and good for the team, but it is kind of sickening how it quickly it went from no one talking about the Celtics anymore to suddenly always talking about them. It's easy to be a Celtics fan during any of their 16 championships, but a true measure is taken of how much you love them when they're not winning any.
Diehard for life and I'll be there when the going gets rough again. For now, I'll enjoy a championship or two, hopefully.

The warriors were so close to getting in the Playoffs, they could have done a better job against the Lakers and the Nuggets did. I hope Boston wins tonight and its the classic rematch of Celtics Vs. Lakers where I hope Celtics win everything

Watching the game right now, and as The Predator said, I hope the C's win. It would be my first Celtics vs. Lakers Finals. More importantly, they're simply the two best teams this year, so it will be fun. Kobe has always been one of my favorite players, but I obviously won't be rooting for him.

Celtics are in! This is going to be the best NBA Finals since the last time the Bulls and Jazz locked horns (10 years ago).

The only basketball I watched was the 90's Bulls. I LOVE Pippen more than anyone in the NBA. Always have! I wore his Jersey while everyone else wore Jordan.
The last great year was Pippen Rodman and Jordan. Havent watched since. So I guess its been about 10 years.

Yeah, the last great Finals were definitely those two years in a row of the Bulls and Jazz. You knew the Bulls were going to win, but the Jazz played well enough to make it interesting....unfortunately, there was no stopping Michael....just like in the movies, ha ha.
Celtics in 7. Pierce wins MVP. Tears of joy flow from the Big Three and from the Celtics fans who were not fairweather fans.

that's what makes me despise the Celtics so much, the fact that 75% of their fan base are bandwagoners

That's for every team though, in every sport. Where are all the Chicago Bulls jerseys this decade? Whoever wins the championship is everyone's favorite team of a sudden. Everyone was hot for the Heat when they won the title a few years back and now that they had the worst record in the league, you don't hear a peep about them....except from the true die hards.
I don't care normally, but when people start calling me out as if I'm guilty (which has happened at work), I get pissed off and frustrated.
I think it is going to be at its most obvious when the Tampa Bay Rays start winning consistently in the MLB.

I loved the heat since D-Wade joined the NBA.
Boston beat L.A. again, now it's in L.A., lets see if they could do what they did to the Pistons.
BEAT L.A.!!!

I think the Lakers will 2 of their 3 games at home. Boston will hopefully close the series at home.
Wade is a beast. I hope this injury thing he has been on for the past two years doesn't turn into a habit.
