All I have is a GE VCR and a really cheap DVD player I got at walmart for 20 dollars. Thankfully you can get a VCR for cheap now a days. Unfortunately in stores ALL I see is the combos. I don't own a blu ray. I doubt I will anytime soon. I'm not rolling in cash.
But I can't to see this you are right ;D

2nd most overrated film of '10, behind Piranha 3-D.It was so slow, I kept waiting for something good to happen. In fact it's a year later and I'm still waiting.
I only bought it for the VHS tape anyway,so I guess I shouldn't be too disappointed.

If you check out many 70s style horror films they are all "slow" It's just today we are so use to IN YO FACE that this one was a throwback to the slowly building suspense style of Horror films, something thus lost. I thought it was the most risky since many are so use to the style out now.

I finally saw this recently and wow, I was completely blown away. I can't believe how much I love this film. As mentioned, it totally has the late 70's/early 80's vibe, both in terms of how the pacing and how it looks. Samantha is one of the most likable leads in horror film all time to me.
I have to sit down one day and map out my favorites of the 2000's, but this has a top 3 feel to me, sitting somewhere with Inside, Drag Me to Hell, A Tale of Two Sisters, among others.
