Thats cool rebel, TCM TB isn't hard to find unctut. TCM 3 on the other hand... Welllllllllllllllllllllll my search is over ;D I found the first release of Texas Chainsaw Massacre today from Video treasures from the early 80s and I found oddly the Beginning UNCUT of all ones to find in a thrift store today. Picked up both!! Will post pictures of my wonderful hyperventilating moment I had today in the recent purchases in a bit!

Gunnar all the way. Everything about the original is excellent.

Brew,Andrew Bryinarski was a terrible LF. Not to mention he's a drunken asshole

I think Andrew could only do what the director and the powers that be wanted him to do. They were the ones who wanted him to look the part of a slasher. Personally I liked everything about The Beginning though, including Leatherface. The remake not so much.
Of course if he's a drunken asshole I would not be a fan either.

Brew,Andrew Bryinarski was a terrible LF. Not to mention he's a drunken asshole Banned from Monstermania as well I don't consider him to be a terrible Leatherface, just way too generic like most PD movies are. Of course, that isn't totally his fault like Chainsaw said, as this was a much bigger production then the original, which was independently produced for a mere $140,000.

I just felt that he played it like he was Jason. Which aggrivates me very much but I suppose he's better than Robert Jacks. I do like LFs design in TCM The Beginning alot better than the remake where it looked like he was wearing a brown paper bag for an apron and a latex mask. In The Beginning his appearance was much better when he got the skin mask.

That goes back to a point made in another thread.
Most PD movies have a very generic look and feel to them.

Yep. I hope PD tanks soon.

With the amount of money that Michael Bay makes, that isn't likely to happen.

Yep, as long as The Anti-Christ of horror keeps getting cash the longer Hell Dunes exsist.

It isn't horror that made him $125 million last year.
For that, you have to look to the Transformers movies.

Gunnar by far. Followed by Johnson and Bryniarski. Unlike most people on here I loved his version of LF. I also really like PD movies. Best remakes going today come from them. Not that that's saying a lot. ;D But I do enjoy them. Every single movie PD has made beats the holy hell out of the craptacular Zombieween films.

Johnson did a good job as Leatherface, but I am a sucker for TCM 2.
It goes for black comedy and succeeds.

I liked Zombieween 1 but 2....yeah lets not discuss that. Johnson was my second favorite LF but LF in that seemed like a child more than a retard.

Brew,Andrew Bryinarski was a terrible LF. Not to mention he's a drunken asshole i liked the original it was and still is a classic but i liked him better its like my grandpa always said " brew not everybody is gonna like the same thing because if they did everybody would be after your grandma." grandpa was a weird guy

Leatherface was supposed to be like a frightened child in the original as well.
The mistake that is made is to make him to smart and cunning, as that is just like a typical slasher.

Part 2 is my second favorite TCM by far. The movie just gets better and better with each viewing. It may be considered a cult film but it's damn entertaining. I'm sad that the actor that played L.G. (Lou Perryman) in the film was murdered last year. I hope the punk who did it gets the death penalty.
