Okay what did you like more (even if you hated both) H1 or H2 from Rob Zombie?
I think H2 was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better. It was very good IMO if you get rid of the horse stuff and mom ghost. The mom ghost eventually doesnt even bother me cause he could actually see something like that. But the horse is corny.
H1 was one of the worst movies ever, Neither one had a great ending.

IMO and I know i'm gonna get ALOT of hate for this but I like 1 alot. I will give 2 credit for trying a new vision of Michael Myers it just didn't work for me. I like 1 when it's the unrated version that doesn't ahve the reape scene in it. 1 wasn't pefect nor did I expect it to be but it's one of my favorite remakes ( the other being Willard even if I haven't seen the original). 1 does have it's issues like too much trailer trash and stripper mom but other than that it was a pretty decent Halloween.

RZH2 is growing on me, although I don't think that it will end up in my top five.
The remake suffers from horrible pacing and writing.

I will admit that the writing is sub par at the most but idk why I like it so much. It wasn't that bad to me anyway

I think H2 was downright one of the worst films ever. It was not scary or intense, just laughable. H1 wasn't spectacular, but better than the second IMO.

Definately the first.I actually really enjoy it until the last half hour. I also lilke 2 but not as much. Neither is great but to me part 1 has more re-watchability.

Yeah I also have to go with part 1, its not great by any means, but its not as bad ad the second one. The second one to me is a decent slasher but just not what I see as Michael. If it was a totally different series and stood on its own I would like it alot better. But it just doesn't fit into either of the Halloween series original or Zombie's.

I love both movies, but I have to give the edge to H2. To me, it has better re-watchability. It's one of those movies I can just watch over and over again. (I know alot of you are probably cringing as you read this.)

As long as you don't build a shrine to Rob Zombie in your house, it is alright.

After watching it a few more times I feel like 2 was ok. It was good as a movie but as a Halloween well it wasn't Resurrection lol. Like Jer said earlier 2 is growing on me.

Would rather have my eyes taped open and sadistically tortured than re watch those two movies. 0% re watchability for me and nothing more than hillbilly exaggeration of a slasher movie.

I saw RZH2 on sale as part of a 4/$20 sale, so take that as indication of how disliked it is by the general public.

Well deserved. The Nightmare remake is already down to 15 dollars. Should be in the bargin bin as there are no special features on the damn thing.
