Anyone else notice that some type of hospital is in every Halloween. 1 had Smiths Grove 2 had Haddonfield memorial ( the one in 3 escapes me same with 4) 5 had Smiths Grove ( I think) same with 6. H20 didn't Resurrection had Smiths Grove same with the RZ ones. Anyone else notice the strange obsession that the franchise has with hospitals.

It is one of the better settings for a horror movie.
When you go to one, you would like to feel safe, so why not induce a little carnage into the mix?

Smith's Grove is a focal point of the franchise, so it makes sense to feature it a lot.

True. I dunno just seemed a tad bit odd for some type of hospital in every Halloween not including Haddonfield memorial and Smiths Grove.

It makes sense when you think Michael is a former patient and Loomis is a psycharist in one. There's also the kids clinic in Part 5 where Jamie is living. I think its also used to show both the insanity of Michael and the carnage he inflicts on his victims.
Oh the one in Part 4 is a federal hospital where Michael is moved from.

I really think that's what makes Halloween II so great, the whole hospital setting, its why I love that movie so much, makes it so suspensful
