My goal to let yall know about very interesting movies comes the next on my list to share that I saw recently. A bizarre little movie called "Deadline" from 1981. Be sure if you watch that you have the right date. There seems to be A LOT of movies with that title. 1) Very Gory I am really surprised, very bloody this movie is. 2) Shifts from a real to an unreal scene. Very interesting. 3) Decent acting, nothing special really. 4) First released by Paragon Home Entertainment. 5) Has a 5.5/10 on IMDB. PLOT: A horror film about a screenwriter who loses the ability to distinguish between his fantasy world and the real world, with disastrous consequences. As he ruminates on his place in any world and loses his grip, he also loses his wife and his children's respect, and critics tear him apart. The final undoing of this screenwriter is a deadline that must be met at all costs, costs that perhaps are too great Highly recommended!

This looks freaking AWESOME. 81- perfect year for my tastes, and PARAGON? YES! Plus it's not on DVD which makes it that much cooler.

Oh yes. I put this in my wish list for Ebay when I saw a copy was on there and Dear God it went for over 20 plus dollars with many people bidding. Good luck finding this little lost gem with the cool cover art. I would suggest finding an online copy to watch. Even if its just for the kids burning grandma in the bed ;D

ReviewCheck out my review of this. I actually cliff note the gore. From cannibal nuns, to fetus's comiting abortions on themselves . . .to children burnign their grandma, this movie is pretty damn insane! Also has somethign we are use to. Critics hating horror movies and horror fans. Recommend!

Darn freaking right ;D Did you see this movie back in the 80s on any shelves?? Epicly cool cover art, and I heard Paragon had a tendancy to make things uncut. Many Paragon's have never gotten a re-release, this one included. Seriously, check it out! It's gory and depressing at the same time! Cannibal nuns!

I probably saw it in it's initial run but i confess to not remembering it. The Grandma on a bed thing does sound familiar though. I can most likely obtain a copy for $5 if anyone's interested. Just a burn with no cover art though.
