Woo-Hoo! I loved that movie! I think I was around 11 or 12 when it first came out and I wanted to have my own Monster Squad so bad I could taste it! (We did too, for a while. Unfortunately, our town wasn't exactly a hotbed of paranormal activity. heh. Damn the luck!) Yep, Monster Squad will always hold a special place in my orange and black little heart. I even have the theme song (Rock until you drop) on mp3. But then, I'm a huge dork. BloodyCamper, I bought my copy on half.com for only $8 - not bad for a DVD that's tough to find in the rental places. Wolfman's got nards!

Check out www.fleshwoundvideo.com. They made their own DVD. Cool little company that will make DVDs for films that haven't been given an official release in the U.S. They also have Halloween 6: The Producer's Cut with over 40 min. of alternate footage. I reall want to get both.

It's a fun little movie.. like Monsters meet The Goonies.
Fun, fun.
I order a lot from Fleshwound video... fast delivery. I also send my VHS to be turned into DVD, with real covers and all.. $10 each. Not bad.

It's a fun little movie.. like Monsters meet The Goonies. Fun, fun. That's actually the best description I've ever heard. Because that's pretty much exactly what it is. I love this movie and catch it every time I see it listed on TV. Which isn't very often unfortunately. It's just a great bunch of fun.

Just to let all the Monster Squad fans know that there is going to be a Monster Squad Reunion at the next "Monster Mania" convention in February '07. It's a shame Brent Chalem (Horace) isn't going to be there since he passed away several years ago. He was one of the bigger highlights of the movie. Here's the link to the con site www.monstermania.net/Convention7Guests.htm
