This is one of the best zombie movies ever made.
Fulci knew that in order to make a zombie movie, atmosphere and gore had to mix.
This movie has some of the most realistic zombies ever, as they look dead and decomposing.
The make-up for the zombies was "caked" on in several stages and Fulci constantly referred to the extras as "walking flower pots."
It also has a great score, with some memorable music to go along with the zombie terror.

It is called Zombi 2 because Dawn Of The Dead was called Zombi in Europe.
This was billed as an unofficial sequal.

I bumped it, but then deleted my post since it had the review.
I posted the review somewhere else.

I was floored when I first saw the gore and zombie effects in this film. I've been a Fulci fan ever since. The splinter through the eye scene is one for the ages!
