This needs a 0 option. By far the worst sequel ever. Period.

I really liked Chop Top, but didn't like the overall tone of the movie.

It's an average film. It tries to be funny and that lowers it for me.

When Drayton gets chainsawed in the crotch and butt, he hides under the table. He holds something bloody and fleshy and mentions not needing a trip to the hospital.

Seeing so many of you guys having negative opinions of this movie is horrifying to me!!! It's such a well liked movie and all. Well, I love this movie. One of the best horror sequels ever, in my view. What helps it work so well is that they did what was necessary to be successful with a sequel to such a monumental film: don't try to repeat the first one. They went in the absolute opposite direction with the feel and atmosphere, while still retaining the spirit and unrelenting madness of the original. The first was brutally realistic, this one is way over the top and humorous. But at the same time, it's got scary stuff in there too. This thing has some very unnerving and gruesome displays of violence along with the funny stuff, which is a combo I've always really liked. And, it gave us a new classic character, Chop-top, who is one of the most memorable and spooky characters ever. There is some over the top cheese in there, and I guess that kind of stuff isn't everybody's bag, but a bunch of F13 fans not liking this thing really surprises me!!!! To each his own, of course, but damn, this thing rules.

Its definately not as good as the first movie but its not without its charm. The first time I ever saw it,the VHS I had must have been a cut version because the whole scene with Leatherface dancing with Stretch after he put the flesh mask on her and all the other stuff in the back room wasn't in the movie.I think on the VHS all that scene had was Leatherface coming in and doing a bit of cutting with the electric knife then leaving.

I give it a 1, pretty goofy piece of junk. I agree with ya there Tommy... It was the wrong direction after the success of the original TCM.. It would of been a lot better without the goofs... But you know at least they made up for it with part 3,,staring Ken Foree<---Spelling?) from the original Damn of the dead!! I give it a 2,,,the only reason for the 2 is that i could make some killer gifs from it,,thats about all its really good for.

www.bloody-disgusting.com/index.php?Show=6887Commemorating the 20th anniversary of Tobe Hooper's sequel, MGM Home Entertainment will be releasing a special edition The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 in September, Davis DVD reports via Horror Hound Magazine. Details are still sketchy, but word is that the disc will feature new interviews with cast and crew, including stars Bill Moseley and Tom Savini, along with deleted scenes and a new anamorphic widescreen transfer. Fango also reports that the DVD will include a six-part documentary, running about 90 minutes and featuring interviews with nearly a dozen cast and crew members, covering the entire production including the screenwriting, casting, art direction/set design, makeup FX and more, with never-before-seen on-set footage. Now we'll finally be able to see the Bill Moseley deleted scene everyone's been talking about!
