I guess I'm one of the few that enjoys all the Child's Play movies. They may not be the best horror flicks, but they're just good, fun, mindless entertainment. I might have to have a Child's Play marathon soon.

A remake of Child's Play? I would never want to see that. What I want to see is a good sequel!

It doesn't bother me. Maybe this time they'll make a film I can enjoy.

I like Child's Play, just not enough to double dip. I might eventually sell the copy I have now and pick this one up. I'd be interested to see all the special features.

Could be interesting. They kept Dourif, so that'll make it easy to watch if it winds up bombing.

A remake is a bad idea to me. The original is nearly perfect and there's no way they will be able to make it better especially since they've said Chucky will still be animitronic and not cgi. Youre still limited with what you can do with animitronics. I thought he was already very scary in the original and I question just how much more scary he could be.
I realize they are doing a remake because they want to keep the series going and they realize they cant keep going the comedy route like with Bride and Seed and the only thing they can do at this point that would be successful is to start all over. I just hope they dont completely change the story and make it some dumb slasher film like with Chucky killing teenagers or something. That would be horrible.

As long as they got Dourif and there's no CGI that's 2 good things I like about this movie already. I enjoy the whole series I feel part 1 was of course the best and Seed being the worst.

I don't see how they can make it scarier. It'll still be a story about a killer doll. And that isn't scary to me. The only Chucky film that's even semi enjoyable to me is the original. I don't know what they could add or change to make the remake better. It is nice to hear Douriff will have a bigger role before he becomes a doll.

I went with Childs Play 1 becuase it has always been my favorite and it is the best one but the one that i hate the most has to be The Bride of Chucky just because it was pretty dumb and weird but i did like the kills.

Yea, gotta go with the first one. It's been a couple of years since I last watched it, but when I did, it was the first time in probably 10 years. It held up way better than I thought it would. It plays like an actual horror film and tries (and succeeds) to be suspenseful, so I got to give it credit for that.
