The "cheap" dvd that is being circulated is poor quality. Better off buying the real deal from Amazon used for cheap.. it also has some kick as commentary on it. You mean the one Anchor Bay released that was cut by four minutes?

No, the uncut version is not very good quality.
There was one killer, however, in the kill scenes they used the hands, head and likeness of Jonathan Tierston (msp) to sort of throw off the audience. (they speak about that in the commentary)

That's cool. Was it hard to find them? At our Wal-Marts they have some of the cheaper DVD's thrown into a container or whatever. It's so unorganized and there is just no way you can possibly look through all of them. That kind of thing bothers me and I just want to sort them out myself.

It was on a stand of DVD's, so it wasn't hard to find.
The bins were insanely packed.
I watched part two, and it wasn't as good as the first, but had it's own charm.

I kind of like how Pamela Springsteen can be totally calm then kill someone.

LOL, me too!! I know parts 2 and 3 aren't regarded as being popular among many people but they amuse the hell out of me.

Thanks for the link. I didn't know she was Bruce Springsteen's sister.

Yeah, in SAC2 it was her (Bruce Springsteen's Sister) and Renee Estevez (sister of Charlie Sheen, Emilio Estevez, daughter of Martin Sheen, neice of actors Ramon Estevez and b movie man Joe Estevez, who is working on TEN movies as we speak, and has been in 143)
What a family.

Part 2 was stupid, it seemed like justa bunch of people getting killed, with almost ZERO plot! I take this statement back, I just watched Part 2 again now and I love it alot! It's one of my favorite horror movies now. The movie with the box set (the unfinished one IV The Survivor) isn't it. That was with a NEW Angela and a NEW director. That movie was never finished. The Return To Sleepaway Camp is with first director Robert Hiltzik. Felissa Rose (Angela) from part one is coming back along with the camp counselor Paul DeAngelo and Angel's cousin Ricky (Jonathan Tiersten), and new owner Vincent Pastore (Sopranos). Issac Hayes (Chef from South Park) is the camp chef and CKY make a cameo with Bam Marger's brother Jess. Looks like it will be good. Oh man I sure hope you're right! Felicia Rose HAS to play the role of Angela again! That would be amazing!

Man, I was just about to come on here and ask if anyone even knows about this movie. haha!! I love it!! I don't need to worry about poor quality. I bought the Box Set. Sleepaway Camp: Survival Kit. I love that thing. I can't vote yet though, considering I haven't seen the entire series. But I'll definitely get back to you! What a great film!! Does anyone own the Survival Kit?

It looks low budget again but maybe thats the correct feel for these flicks... a TCM Remake budget my not be what it needs. We'll see, I wonder if it will be straight to video
