I have a fondness for these types of movies and this is one of the best ones. This is what happens when you flush baby alligators down the toilet. ;D

One of my favorites. And a great movie to show you don't need CGI for effects. Plus it has Robert Forster in it. He's a great character actor who is always fun to see.

A fantastic little made for TV film. Used to love watching this as a kid! It wasn't a made for tv film. It was released in theaters with a R rating. I looked it up.

I stand corrected. Post revised. I only ever remember this from TV. They used to play it all the time back in the day ;-)
I'm glad you liked the gifs X!

Yeah, it used to play on USA all the time back in the late 80's, early 90's. Alligator is just a fun movie, definitely has re-watchability.

I know it was a weird reaction. But after seeing this when I was a kid I actually went around to local pet stores hoping to get an Alligator. ;D

Nothing weird about that at all.I wish they really did have Alligators in Pet Stores. It would be cool to have one as a pet .

They used to sell both Alligators and Monkey's in pet stores several decades back. I wish they still did.

My mom can remember walking into a mall pet shop in the 70s and almost tripping over a full grown lion on a leash. My problem with people owning exotic animals especially large cats comes from the fact that many get them and don't know how to properly care for them, I've seen some pretty bad results from the pet trade when I was volunteering at a large cat sanctuary.

If a pet store was to offer exotic animals there needs to be some sort of test or some such that would prove the person knows the special things necessary to properly take care of said animal. I have looked into what's necessary to care for an alligator. I'd be more than willing to do everything to take proper care of the beastie.

That's the difference, I'm sure you'd be a great owner since you've taken the time to learn what is necessary and are willing to do just that but unfortunately its not something most would take the time to do, they just buy the animal because its cute at the moment. I cagree that they should have some sort of course or something for them to take to prove they can care for whatever they want to buy because in the end the animal is the one that suffers from an owners ignorance.

Exactly. People who buy pets on spur of the moment decisions sicken me. If you don't plan on taking proper care of them then don't buy them. Damn it now I want to see this movie again.
