At least the poster is cool. There's just something about worms that aren't that scary. This is about the aftermath of a storm causing power lines to break and touch the ground, sending man-eating worms out of the earth. This movie had me looking up online what an "egg cream" was afterwards and that's about it. There are too many boring subplots where the two main characters are researching what happened to who. I do not recommend this unless you get something out of the swampy-lake scenery, some woods, an antique dealer, and a kind of creepy house. All of that is actually kind of good atmosphere but the movie overall is about a D.

Yall make me happy, I would have never heard of half of these if I had not found this forum! Is there a theatrical trailer for this movie online somewhere? Usually gives me a fairly good idea on whether I will like the movie or not.

Holy Crap this makes me feel old. I remember watching this on either TNT or USA back in the early 80's. I need to see it again.

^^^ That's a genius idea....and I can see it working well. Makes me what which other horror films this would be effective with.
