It's not the same as Nightmare on Elm St. Takes an idea from it, but it's different. The villian is creepy and Jennifer Rubin stars and pretty well. This is one that sort of got away and should be considered one of the better horror films of the 1980s

Here's another movie I first saw on USA Up All Night. Bad Dreams has always been vastly underrated, in my opinion. Richard Lynch gives a truly scary performance as the cult leader Harris and Bruce Abbott from Re-Animator plays the hero Dr. Karmen. Bad Dreams has pretty much been forgotten about today, which is a shame. Check it out if you haven't already.

Seen it. It's watchable. It's not bad but it's not good either. I give it about a 3 or 4 on a scale to 5. I do think it take a lot of elements from Nightmare On Elm Street. I recommend at least for a watch. It's better than some things that come out now.

Great film. I've had this one in my collection for quite some time now. I enjoy it every time i watch it.Its similar to nightmare on elm street,but it still has a different atmosphere and feel.
Love it.
