There are a few things about the Halloween franchise that some people are confused about, so I thought that they should be listed.
1. When H20 was in pre-production, a decision was made by the powers that be to have it ignore 4-6. That time line has never been used again. Therefore, Jamie doesn't exist and Thorn never happened.
2. Jimmy from H2 doesn't have the last name of Lloyd, as that was a fan invention that made it all the way to IMDb and Wikipedia before it was removed. He was never officially confirmed as Jamie's dad and official material also rules him out as John's dad.
3. Some people claim that Halloween 9 is still possible, but the studio had expressed no interest in doing so and a ninth film has been made in the form of Rob Zombie's remake.
4. Rob Zombie's Halloween II is mistaken as a remake of the 1981 film, but it is actually a sequel to the remake.
5. If Halloween 3D is made, the studio has stated it will not be a remake of the 1982 film, but will be a sequel to Zombie's second film.
6. Michael Vs. Pinhead, aka Helloween, was dropped in 2003 and will not be made, as well as any crossover film involving Michael Myers

Wasn't there a a scene in the H20 script that mentioned 4-6 but wasn't filmed?

Not in any functional script.
Any reference to the three retconned movies was removed in the early stages of development.

Ah ok. And wasn't there two masks used in the film? Because I saw a trailer which has a HORRIBLE mask on Michael Myers that isn't the one in the film.

Nope, just the one converted Shatner mask.
They had to use several masks throughout the course of the franchise due to legal issues.

You sure? Because in the trailer I saw there's this really ugly mask that Michael is wearing that never appears in the film.

I never noticed that there were 2 different masks, but I could be wrong. I haven't seen the trailers in a long time.
One thing I love about H2O is the moment where we see Janet Leigh wishing Laurie a Happy Halloween and she's standing beside the same make and model car she drove in Psycho.

Oh, you were talking about H20, not the original, in which case you would be right about some bad looking masks. There are several masks, including an awful CGI job, due to reshoots.

On Rabbit in Red I wasn't able to do the show. They did a special about all 8 Halloweens without me. They gave SO MUCH insider information about the Halloween movies. I myself listen to it 3 times in a month because it was so good. It's ok to hear my own show when i wasn't on that one haha
So give this one a download and listen if you wanna learn a ton of inside information about all 8 Halloween movies. It's very interesting.LINK
