Werewolf hunter Stefan Crosscoe travels to Transylvania to battle with his sister Stirba, Queen of the Werewolves. Crosscoe is assisted by Ben, who is seeking revenge after his sister is murdered by the beasts. Will they be able to stop Stirba before she is restored to her full, evil power? Legendary horror icon Christopher Lee stars as Crosscoe, and although Lee is embarassed by the film, I actually liked it. The very 80's soundtrack comes from Babel, who also appear in the film. Comments?

I'm not a huge fan of The Howling series. Thats one franchise that kept on getting worse and worse with each sequel. The only one I really remember was Howling VI The Freaks because the box art said it was vampire vs. werewolf on the cover and that sounded really cool and then I saw the movie a few years later and of course it wasnt as good as advertised.

The first Howling is classic IMO but I really enjoy the second one as well. As for the ones that followed one viewing was more than enough for me.

I saw the original back in the day but do not remember much of it. I have the DVD I bought like 4 Halloweens ago and still have yet to watch it. I should prolly watch it again before moving on to the sequels. So little time though. My daughter controls the TV now when I'm home at night lol. At least she watches educational things though. I won't allow much else.
