I didn't see a thread, so I decided to create one.
I have this on DVD with both versions of the film.
It is cheesy, but the filmmakers were aware of that, and used that to its advantage.
It has some good gore and Tom Atkins is great in it as his H3-ish drunk persona.

Yeah, because I didn't think Night of the Creeps had gotten a DVD release. It certainly should though, I love this flick.

Isn't this the film that supposedly influenced 'Slither' quite a bit? If so I need to see it. I loved 'Slither'.

Its been a long time since Ive seen this and I dont really remember it. Jason Lively was a really ugly looking and annoying dude and I liked him a lot better in National Lampoon's European Vacation.

I remember having such a great time in the theater with this one when it was first released.
I rewached it last year and it hardly had the same affect on me.....

The exact opposite happened to me when I saw House of 1000 Corpses. I hated it in the theatre but when I saw it again later on I really liked it. I guess it has to do with our perspective and how they change with time.

Seeing a movie in the theater can make a movie completely different. I think it might have a lot to do with the audience you're with. If they are acting excited/happy with a film it makes you feel that way. But at home it's only you and your own feelings. F vs. J was very fun in the theater. At home eh. ;D

I just sold my Dark Knight dvd this evening. It was great in the theater but after seeing it again on dvd,i didn't like it.Its a very slow and stale movie.
Heath did his part as far as acting was concerned.I blame the writers for not having the slightest clue who the joker really is.My favorite Jokers are Cesar and Jacks Jokers by far.So i know how things could change after seeing a movie in theaters.

Actually, there is a certain widely acclaimed graphic novel called The Killing Joke that is heavily referenced in TDK when it comes to Heath's Joker.
Tim Burton is a huge fan of it.
That is off topic though, but I just had to point it out.
I would love to see Night Of The Creeps on the big screen.

I found it slow and stale in the theater. Haven't watched it from home but DK is my vote for most overrated movie of the year!
I think that people wanted so badly to love this movie that many of it's flaws were ignored.
I also think that Heath's death "shrouded" the movie with a certain fascination & mystery that clouded many other aspects of the film.
IMO Batman Begins was 100 times better......

Yup well said Boggy. I for one,am not a fan of any of the new Batman movies at all. I'm more of a Tim Burton and Adam West Batman kind of guy.
Plus with this new Batman film,i f*cking hated the off screen kills. I know its pg-13,but they could have at least shown some of "The Joker" gore. I never read the Killing Joke, but i do own The new Novel "The Joker" and that was amazingly gory and violent.I would love to see that on the screen.
Back on Topic, Night of the creeps is one of my favorite Horror films that never saw a decent dvd release.I'm not sure if its ever going to be released, but I'll continue to wait patiently until that day finally arrives.

It's truly a crime that Night of the creeps hasn't been released on DVD yet.
