I'm all caught up on this franchise. The poster is weird as hell on Wiki and has Final Chapter written at the top.
Box offices: Domestic
Saw $55,185,045 Saw II 87,039,965 Saw III $80,238,724 Saw IV $63,300,095 Saw V $56,746,769 Saw VI 27,693,292
My rankings for this:
Saw Saw VI Saw III Saw IV Saw II (was horrid) Saw V (very very horrid!)

That's fine by me. I love the Saw franchise. If they can continue to make higher quality ones like part 6 they can continue the series forever. Saw is the best horror franchise out right now IMO. If this does end up really being the last one I hope it goes out with a bang.

Saw 7 was a great way to end the franchise. The 3d was a total ripoff though.I only counted like 3 real good 3d scenes throughout the whole movie.
I felt like an asshole for paying 14 bucks for 3 people plus soda and popcorn with an extra dose of caramel for myself, wanting some traps in my face, and getting only one real trap that came out the screen.I was disappointed.I hate having my strings pulled with this whole 3d movie house shit.
The movie itself though was well directed and basically everything was revealed. The Dr. Gordan question was finally answered.
I liked the film.

Sounds good, maybe I'll see it. I haven't seen the sixth one yet, so I'll probably watch that first.

Horrible series plot holes were very inaccurately attempted at very unsatisfying answers.
Wanted to love it but aside from the gore, it was a tremendous disappointment. Remember, I love the Jigsaw character and have enjoyed almost every movie in the franchise.
This is the worst one. It better be done like it's supposed to be. This is like a Halloween Resurrection type explanation on things.

Even though I have NOT seen 3D I highly doubt it is dethroning my top three. Of course the original is number 1. Followed by VI which was refreshing after it got blah in IV and V. And of course it could have ENDED at III which is my third favorite.

I thought Saw 3D was great. I had no idea Dr. Gordon was going to be in it so I was pleasantly surprised. I'm sad to see this franchise come to an end, I've enjoyed all the movies.

They also said that F13 Part 4 was the "final chapter" and JGTH was the "final Friday."
It isn't over considering the solid returns.

I finally saw all the Saws ;D (except for 3D)! I gotta say, they lost me after part 3! Really the first ones the best! 2 didn't really need to be made, but it's still fun to see all what you didn't and hear. The third should of been the final film, in my opinion! I mean Tobin Bell, is dead!
I do love his unspoken' dialog in part 6!

Me and Tim agree highly! Two was a waste of time and all the characters were ANNOYING. Watch the movie "Cube" from the mid 90s and you will see that its near a carbon copy of that (the secod sequel it is) it just vibes it.
Then sequel III was the best after the first one. But they killed the lead off. Yet made more sequels anyway. Which is why IV was OKAY. V was a load of dick pee and VI FINALLY had a story which made it the second best to me.
I fear the worst for 3D

I would wait till "it" finds me! You know? If its on TV, or a friend brings it over or somthin'! I don't care if it's not 3D format or not, but if the film has a lot of shitty 3D gimmicks! Then clearly they didn't care for the story as much for the effects! So, after 7 sequels(or 6, not good with numbers) I'm just not going to take that chance to loose that time or money! And judging by all the "3D movies" that have been released lately, I'm goin' with my gut! ;D

Me and Tim agree highly! Two was a waste of time and all the characters were ANNOYING. I remember I hated the one cocky spanish guy in part 2 and that just turned me off to the franchise. I hate characters like that and really don't want to observe their behavior for 90mins...
Never watched one after it.

You hit the nail on the coffin. ALL and I do mean ALL the characters of 2 are annoying as hell. How can anybody seriously like the second sequel?? There is NOBODY to root for! You literally want them all to die and there is nothing likable about any of them!
III is a step up and to be frank should have ended THERE. They killed off John the Jigsaw man for God's sake
But oh no, gotta make some more! IV was OKAY. V was horrid and makes no sense at all.
VI was a massive step up and pretty good and should have ended THERE.
But oh no, we got VII now and it is getting horrible reviews. Hopefully that put the nail in the coffin. Paranormal Actiivty 2 has made 2X more money than 3D.
By the way Paranormal Activity 3 has been announced for Next October already.
But yeah this isn't one of my favorite franchises due to the topsy turvy sequels. One minute good, then badly annoying, then good, then okay, then whorejizz, then great, then not sure >_>

Yeah this is definetly one franchsie that did every single kind of plot twist possible in order to keep it going. I don't exactly love or hate the franchise, it falls into the category of 'seen better and definetly seen alot worse' for me. They got into trouble when they resorted to flashbacks in order to keep Jigsaw in the movie.

Hey who checked off number 2 in te favorites up there ;D it wasn't me And you nailed it Firestar. Imagine if every other series had killed off the villian in like the 2 or 3rd sequel yet made sequels anyway using flash back footage with somebody else doing the work. Even though looking back I think I would have preferred Tommy Jarvis being the new Jason instead of the route that was took. Not that I don't find the other ones amusing But yeah. I hope to God Lionsgate is done with this franchise. It's not in my top three favorites. Not sure where it ranks. The most re watchable one has to be the first one. Just a great solid movie. After that I Think the re watchability goes down drastically.

I was in Walmart for the first time in weeks. I saw this movie in there. The DVD is not unrated (ploy to make you pay more) and they had a Blu ray that was unrated and I guess has 3D(which I am told added nothing)
Anybody actually seen this?? I may stream it soon since its released I can stream a decent copy of it. It got horrific reviews on Rotton Tomatoes compared to the great ones VI got.

Aside from the gore it isn't special. I will say one thing in i's defense. It is a part 7 of a series. The fact is that I will watch it again because I like the gore and the brief appearances of Jigsaw. Only one other series had a part 7 that I could watch again so that being said it isn't that bad.
