Another Lost Christmas horror gem this time from the 70s. It was released in the 80s by Paragon which was known for releasing forgotten 70s gems in their span as a media distributor. Oddly This movie was made in 1974, there are "creepy phone call" in this one that is just as eery to me at least as the one in Black Christmas 1974. Now this movie had a super low budget so the film quality is not the best in the world. But it has pretty good acting, a plot, modest gore, suspense and atmosphere out the wazoos! It has narration in the movie at times which is different. The plot is officially this: A man inherits a mansion, which once was a mental home. He visits the place and begins to investigate some crimes that happened in old times, scaring the people living in the region. It has a 5.1 on IMDB. I recommend for a watch. It has had a DVD release as far as i know but its Rare and OOP just like this Paragon is.

I actually like this one, unfortunately the dvd transfer I have of it is far from great. It's a great show of low budget 70s horror/suspense. It just got forgotten very quickly since it couldn't compete with the classic Black Christmas.

It was made on low quality film so I don't see many transfers being any more dandier. It's a pretty good forgotten eery gem. And you be right Black Christmas is overshadowing it. BC is better but this one is pretty dandy as well. The transfer on youtube I think is from one of the DVD's and it doesn't look too bad

It's indeed a slasher film. Way before its time. And VERY 70s. I think its pretty eery in the 70s vintage way. I recommend!

This is another good one. Different than Black Christmas but just as good. I personally think that Black Christmas is the most overrated horror movie ever by the genre community.
