Okay in Halloween 5 and 6 we see that Michael has a mark of thorn on his wrist. While I know how a majority of you feel about thorn just know that this is an observation, I don't like thorn lol. Anyhow as I was saying we see that Michael has this mark right...so how did he get it? And wouldn't Loomis mention it In Halloween 2 when they tried to ID his body ( that was actually ben Tramer's) at the morgue?

Your explanation pretty much sums it up. It's a massive continuity error that makes absolutely no sense as the franchise is constantly grasping at a straws to have a storyline. Yep Loomis would have mentioned it. But the story of Halloween was a simple story that the franchise butchered to death to try to explain and failed horribly at doing so.

Well the body in Part 2 was burned beyond any recognition so he may have mentioned it, we just didn't seeit, if you know what I mean. Besides if a body is so extremely charred and burned that you can't identify the face and you need dental records then the area of the wrist was probably just as charred and unrecognizable. That being said your all right that it doesn't make sense when you look at the series in reverse, if it was there then there should have been some mention of it, like in Part 2 where he is explaining the whole SamHain thing in the school and in the car. Personally I think it was just an idea in Part 5 that they used to bring a little mystery to the man in black, which in turn Part 6 just ran way, way, way too far with.

Oh Abraxis, the curse of the thorn did that. It gives Michael the ability to regenerate body parts ;D

The simple answer is that Thorn didn't officially exist before Halloween 6 came out.
When Halloween 5 was made, they had no idea who the MIB was or what the symbol meant.

I'll go with the Wolverine Analogy. I just hope Michael Myers aint got a crush on Jean Grey, we all know how that always turns out

Good topic Leatherface but yea Firestar is right. He was burned up or so Loomis thought after the car hit Ben Tramer. He would not have looked for it.
