Got the Blu-rays as well. Scream 1 is very good, 2 is ok, and 3 is subpar.

There next big project is Hellraiser remake. I think a good Christmas release date would be good don't you? >_> Don't put it past Bob and Harvey Weintein! If I recall weren't the first two Screams released at Christmas in the U.S.? And the Faculty. Then the Weinstein's changed Scream 3 till early 2000 instead of xmas 99 as planned, and it was the least successful of the trilogy.Obviously didn't learn their lesson. And they wonder why their films are under performing.

Dick piles of piss! You are correct I just looked and the Weinsteins released the Faculty on CHRISTMAS FREAKING DAY The first Scream Dec 20th, might as well say Christmas! The sequel on the 12th of December! Scream 3 February 4th so around Valentines Day Yep the Weinsteins are idiots of releasing. Don't be surprised that they don't release that remake around Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, or any other date it shouldn't be around. Shouldn't be released period after October as folks are BURNED OUT after that.

Not too much of a fan myself, but a little surprised Scream 2 is getting shut out on the poll.

I love when Kirby starts shouting out all of the remakes during the Casey reference scene.

It IS impossible dude! Now it's $7.69! I did luck out and get Simpsons Season 20 BluRay for $22 when everyone else paid over $40 SO it's not always bad when things drop REALLY low!
You almost have to monitor all your fav movies. Its like playing the stock market lol Get them when theyre lowest! ;D

I'm a fan of the series and have them on blu-ray.
I voted for 1 and 4 like many of you. Four was a pleasant surprise I just wish they would have stuck with the unhappy ending they teased at first rather than going with the happy one the actually ended on. Would have been more effective IMO.

The thing about Scream 4 is that it over did the comedy. Alas "Fuck Bruce Willis", "I'm Gay, If that helps"
I miss the darker tone that both Scream, and Scream 2 set. Krueger overdoes the comedy, which to me ruins the movie

I have to disagree. The original Scream was loaded with comedy. Between Randy (Jamie Kennedy) and Stu (Matthew Lillard) there was a TON of comedy.
The line "Did you really call the police? My mom and dad are gonna be SO mad at me!" had me rolling on the floor laughing and I still get a kick out of it.
And when you add in all the satire of the genre, I had friends who denied it was even a horror movie and claimed it was much more of a comedy. And don't get me wrong I thoroughly enjoyed this aspect of the original Scream.
Scream 2 had less comedy, I'll grant you that, but it was also vastly inferior.

I didn't say they weren't funny, they were funny. . . Though the comedy was different. It seemed to still be quite dark, and clever. The comedy in Scream 4 & 3 seemed more over-the-top, and Scary Movie like. Lines like "Fuck Bruce Willis" completely took away from the scene, though "My parents are going to be so made at me" didn't. Understand my point?

I used to dislike the Scream franchise. But I find my tastes have changed through the years. I guess I'm easier to please or less uptight. ;D I agree part 4 had a more Scary Movie style humor. Which I don't usually care for in horror. But for some reason I enjoyed it quite a bit.
