The 1932 Scarface starring Paul Muni and George Raft was about a mobster named Antonio "Tony" Camonte, a violent psychopath who rose to power in Chicago's underworld only to have his whole world collapse. The 1983 film starring Al pacino was about a man named Tony Montana who came to Miami from Cuba in 1980 and rose to power in Miami's drug trade only to succumb to drug addiction and paranoia. has anyone ever seen either film and what do you think of them?

I've only seen the 1983 version but my Blu-Ray Steelbook edition came with a copy of the '32 version so I should give it a watch.
