Yeah I just realized that there was some violence (Killing) and amount of terror being to intense so yeah your right it, thats some of the things that made it a R rated movie sorry didnt think about that one

There actually isn't that much violence in the original compared to the sequels. The only one that scaled down the body count was H20. Demon mentioned the unrated version coming out on DVD/BD, and he has a valid point. For the Total Recall remake, they are essentially making two movies, one that is PG-13 for theaters and an R-rated one for home video.
