I'm a Dallas fan. Don't get too upset at me, folks. Cowboys fan here too, for life! Maybe we can scrape some cash together and buy out Jerry Jones.

Great game by the Patriots yesterday. I can't say the same for the Packers.

Patton Manning is so smart, he really knows how to control a game even with a bad team. Jay Cutler was incredible after the beginning of the 1st QT. Michael Vick should go back to killing dogs. He sucks... I was shocked that the Saints played so bad. Same goes for Green Bay... clearly not the same momentum they started with last year.

"Michael Vick should go back to killing dogs" ;D You're right about that, get killed or be killed.

What happened to Peyton Manning last night? He had three picks in the first quarter. Of course, that brings me to my next point: the replacement refs. They are terrible! You get within five yards of the receiver and flags are being thrown.

This year has been funny so far with the flip flop of performances over a 2 game period. People see one thing one week and expect that it set a tone. Nothing could be further from the truth.

That is Football for you. Just when you thought its going to be a long stretch of great performances, think again.

people are jumping all over Manning after last night, I believe the Falcons defense just did a great job in disguising their zone, plus you have to remember this is Peyton's only second true game with his receivers
Plus Atlanta never losses at home, uness its the playoffs

These scab refs are ruining the game! They allowed the 49ers to take six time outs in one quarter, plus two challenges after three had been used. I miss Ed Hochuli...

Dolphins are the biggest losers in football. They miss a FG in OT. THEN... right before Jets kick FG Miami calls timeout and Miami BLOCKED the FG! So they get to do it over again and WIN! #24#

The Seahawks should have lost yesterday. That was clearly an interception, but the scab refs who were fired from the Lingere Football League figured that it was a touchdown.

Those refs take waaaaay too much time to decide a call and have made way too many bad ones in 3 weeks. Why dont they pay these assholes and get some credibility back in football. Although refs get paid waaaay too much already for a job that is 16 weeks out of the year. They should quit their bitchin' They want 10 times more money then the common 50 week a year working man.

You couldn't of said that any better Alex. I sure as hell recall some ridiculous calls and they take god dam forever. A bunch of slack jaw faggots getting paid to jerk themselves off.

I agree as well. The replacement refs are sucking the fun out of the game, calling penalties for phantom infractions.
Here is some levity:

The real refs got a standing ovation when they took the field tonight. That certainly isn't something you expect to see. Now, the honeymoon period probably won't last too long, but I can see a lot of fans complaining less.

I look forward to seeing if Marc Trestman's success with the Alouettes translates to to the Bears.
