I watched Part 1 last night and I will admitt it was'nt nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I actually enjoyed it and I'm glad I made a copy. The one beef with it is that the DVD was not in wide screen. I can't stand full frame movies. They make me sick...
I went to Blockbuster today and picked up 3 and 4: In Space. For some reason they don't have part 2... hopefully I won't ruin anything by watching 3 and 4 and the rest before I (if I ever do) get to 2.

The first three movies have no real connection to each other, and are "stand alone" movies.
Part 4 attempts to make some sense of the whole thing, but it's really, really goofy. To be honest, the two Leprechaun Hood movies were better than this one.

I can't believe you even saw these things! Jesus man, maybe I'm alone in the "give no repect to this series" bit...? Who knows? But hey I am dubbing them all now so eventually I will sit threw all of them. I can just imagine how lame the outter space one is.

I like the Leprechaun, and the concept, but it was carried out goofy.
They begin to realize this in Part 3 (my favorite), and some of the best moments in Horror come alive in the third Leprechaun installment.
The two Leprechaun Hood movies are amusing, and you can tell the movie budget is higher, so it makes it easier to tolerate knowing they don't waste their investments, so the kills and special effects are there.

Pinhead seemed to be in a class of his own, because he didn't outright kill anyone, it was always for a sophisticated reason.

I've only seen the first 2. Out of those the first is the best. But it's not a very good movie either in my opinion. So saying one is the best isn't really saying much.

None of the above. I absolutely loathe the Leprechaun films. No offense to all the fans out there.

I saw 1 and 2 on St.Pattie's day. Oh boy what a day that was! I thought they were hilarious. Him getting misguidedly wasted in the bar in the second one was absolutely priceless. Pinhead seemed to be in a class of his own, because he didn't outright kill anyone, it was always for a sophisticated reason. And yes, Pinhead is definitely in his own category. Is it my imagination or would Pinhead and Jigsaw get along really well? I think they would. Both kill for a reason, both have a knack for hurting people and screwing with their heads. I dunno. Jigsaw may fit into that class as well.
