It's making the way around Facebook now. First look at the new Robocop suit for the upcoming remake/reimagining/whatever it's going to be called. It looks like Iron Man & Christopher Nolan's Batman suit had a baby. After seeing this & hearing that Robocop may fight Al-Qaeda in the new movie, it seems that fans of everyone's favorite crime fighter are of the same opinion regarding this modernization & are voicing it loudly. Clearly they are going for the BatMan audience....

Yeah they are, the suit is just bland. With Batman it works because he's stealthy and is supposed to look like a bat. However, with Robocop...he doesn't REALLY look like a Robocop if that makes sense. He looks like a guy in a suit, rather than a man mixed in with a machine, which is just awful.

The movie is being filmed here, which is probably why there were so many trailers and trucks downtown when we went to the Jays game.

Clearly they are going for the BatMan audience.... It does have that feel/look, lets see how it plays out. But after seeing the Bat suit not too long ago already shaped in an image in your head. So looking at this is no different in a way. Gary Oldman, Jackson & Keaton....I'm looking forward to it.

It looks like the bat suit from Batman Begins, but slightly redesigned.

I don't know what to think really. But the cast list is great to I will wait until the trailer to draw some conclusions.

Nothing about that looks "Robo". Kind of disappointing.

I still want to see it based on the cast alone. It might also be fun to pick out Toronto locations.

From what i heard this is not the full suit. This suit is meant as an undersuit so the actor can get used to the restrictions of the full thing.

I hope so. It will be disappointing if that's the final onscreen suit.

It looks way too incomplete for even a stylish modern Robocop.

Well, it can't be worse than Robocop 3, right?

True.

Nothing is worse than Robocop being toned down for kids. I love how over the top the original is when it comes to violence and gore. Of course, the whole movie is satirical, so even when an executive gets shot to bits by ED-209, you have a smirk on your face.

There was a live action TV series, two animated series and the Prime Directives mini-series.
I will always love the 6000 SUX, as my parents had a Pontiac 6000 when I was a kid.
