My mom and I were discussing Halloween last night and I had mentioned that famous actor Christopher Lee was suggested for Dr. Loomis in Halloween. However, she said why wasn't Vincent Price considered for Loomis? And you know, that is a good question. What if he was approached to play Loomis, do you think he would do it?

He is truly a considerably candidate. "13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo" .....Questionable.

I just find it weird that he was never considered for the role.

He is truly a considerably candidate. "13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo" .....Questionable. That is one of the better Scooby Doo animated series. It sure beats the live actions ones they came out with recently. As for Price playing Loomis, the idea is intriguing. He certainly has the screen presence.

How seriously would people have taken him? Christopher Lee seemed like a better choice.

As interesting as it would have been to see I have to agree with stalker. At that point Price wasn't seen as very serious. This would have been during the time in his career when he was seen as a bit of a joke. He was being used for shtick/humor at that point. Towards the end of his career he was starting to be thought of as more serious and even thought of as a statesman of horror. Plus I'd bet even though he wasn't being taken seriously I'd bet his price tag to do the part would have been higher than Pleasence's at that point.
