Shame about Mike man. Great show as always! Question, will you guys be doing a sort of retrospective of the TCM franchise due to the new one coming out soon?

Glad to hear a new episode. I feel kind of funny that I said you guys were gelling so well and then Mike's gone the very next show. ;D Of course that just shows how well you guys hid the behind the scenes B.S. you were dealing with. I always felt it was your show. Probably because you were the one that kept the show rolling and I knew you were the one editing it all together. Mike really didn't contribute much on the air. Especially during the interviews. You and Dan were the ones asking ninety five percent of the questions to the guest. If not for the occasional nervous laughing in the background you'd get the impression that Mike wasn't even there during the interviews. So it's ironic the thing he wanted the show to mostly be about happened to also be the one thing he didn't participate that much in. In fact the most I got from Mike being part of the show was the pleasure I got from laughing at all of the jokes you and Dan made about him. He was kind of the Sal and Richard of the Skeleton Crew. ;D I guess he had a big part in lining the guests up for the interviews. I know either Dan or yourself can do that too. Jamie actually participates more during the news than Mike ever did during the bulk of the show.
I'd kind of like to hear a TCM retrospective as well. Though hearing you guys shit on TCM 2 again would kind of suck. ;D I love that film. It's easily my second favorite in the entire franchise. But then again I can understand people that dislike it. It has a completely different tone from the original. In fact I used to dislike it. But with repeat viewings and knowing that Hooper wanted to do something different I've learned to love it.
So when can we expect a new episode of SC? I'm looking forward to it for sure.

So funny you ASK! TCM is the retro we already planned on next! We will add the new one at the end of the rest!
Yes Kyle your perception of Mike is fairly accurate. Every aspect actually... Yea man this seemed to mean more to him than anyone and he did the least lol I will miss that chemistry but there are endless possibilities of chemistry now.
Yes we just recorded a show today that I enjoyed the hell out of doing! I really like a topical segment we have and we review Jack Frost 1 and 2! LMAO I posted it here so if you guys wanna watch it before the next show, just watch them before December 1st. Thats when the next show goes out.
PS Yes Kyle I used to get the guests before Mike did, it's just an email lol

Cant wait for the TCM retrospective. And anyone who sleeps with a copy of The Curse Of Michael Myers must be fucking insane.

Maybe the movie actually cursed him to love it so much? ;D I had a feeling he wasn't the only one lining guests up. I can't imagine it would be that hard. Glad to hear you guys are going to do TCM next. It's my second favorite franchise so I'm really looking forward to hearing what you guys have to say. I've seen the first Jack Frost. I'll have to hurry and watch the other.

I will go easy on TCM2 ... I actually discussed it this morning with him and went easy on it and stated that people are prob sick of hearing me bash it.

It's all good. You are far from the only one who dislikes it. In fact it's only been within the last 10 years or so that it's gained a cult following of people who enjoy it. I think with repeat viewing you might find yourself enjoying it. So is the plan to do the retrospective after the new film comes out?

Yea I was thinking of two ways... do the retrospective including the new one... or doing it a week before the new one and reviewing the new one the next show.

I think it would be easier to do it with the new one. But it's totally up to you of course

I'm torn. Doing it with the new one would be cool. But doing all but that before then a separate one after would give you guys more time to cover the existing ones and the new one. I guess it depends on how long of a show you want to do. covering seven movies in one show would likely need to be a fairly long show. I suppose you could split it into two shows. One covering the original, part 2, Part 3 and TNG. Then after the new movie doing one covering the remake, the prequel and then TC 3D. I'm probably over thinking it. ;D I'll listen to whatever way you do it. I'm just super psyched to hear it.

Excellent idea Kyle! We cover the originals in one show and the rest in another show! Its a perfect blend between what you and Leatherface said! The new one will be in the retrospective but it all wont be crammed into one show!
Thanks so much guys!

I agree, Kyle's idea is way easier to do and less stress Can't wait either way to see the retrospective!
