Dan Yeager sure has the way Leatherface ran in the original down. It looks like Gunnar Hansen stepped out of a time machine to film that scene. Damn I wish it was the 4th of January already!

BTW Mr. Yeager made a post on his FB page saying it shouldn't be too much longer before we see the first television commercial!

Can't wait! The more I see of this, the more excited I get. Looks a lot better than the remake and prequel.

I know I'm excited. As you know I actually really like the remake and prequel. I'm hoping this is just as enjoyable. I know a lot of people are shitting on it before it comes out. Either due to the fact they read the leaked synopsis several months back and didn't like the sound of it. Or they are upset that this will do an H20 and ignore some of the other films in the franchise. I read the synopsis and don't understand what was wrong with it. It sounded like a good story to me. As for it ignoring the original part 2 and the other original films that doesn't bother me at all. If I can handle multiple timelines in Halloween I can handle them with TCM. I mean it's not like the original 4 films followed much of a continuity themselves. ;D

I just find it confusing as to how old Leatherface and Drayton are supposed to be. But otherwise it looks great!

This movie will start immediately after the original ends. There will be a short part during that period. Then the movie moves to modern times. So LF and Drayton will start the movie the ages they were then. Of course no one knows just how old LF was at that time. Since he never took the mask off. I assume he was younger though. probably in his early 20's. I wont say any more because I don't want to spoil anything.

Looks good! I really hope this franchise can continue for a long time. I have faith this film will definitely be better than TCM TNG.

I wanna know more, but PM me details. But If I read correctly I think I know where this is going. PM sent. It has the link to the synopsis. I suggest if you want to be surprised when watching it for the first time you might not want to read what is at that link. I believe the synopsis is real. It had been posted on a lot more sites but most were taken down due to requests from the studio. I don't know why this copy is still up. Maybe the studio isn't aware of the website it's on. Or they just figured why bother trying to take them all down because the info was already out. Now people involved say it isn't 100 percent accurate. In fact one person said it read like someone who read the script but didn't take notes wrote that synopsis. Someone else said it was about 80 to ninety percent accurate. So I'm guessing if there are details wrong they're few and far between. I kind of wish I hadn't read it. Or that after the leak of info some changes were made. Not due to not liking the story. But due to wanting to be surprised. Of course with the way my memory has been lately I probably will be surprised anyway. ;D

Not digging that woman's acting, especially her delivery of "Welcome to Texas, motherfucker!", it sounded so forced.
Other than that, this looks pretty interesting. I admit, I snorted a bit when I saw Leatherface's little skip-jump into the air, lol, it seemed to imply he was really excited. Most folks might have a problem with that, but having seen and enjoyed the original film, I like the acknowledgement of Leatherface's childish antics... as morbid and insane as they may be.

They were just attacked by a strange dude with a chainsaw, likely they were still scared and not thinking clearly.

Does anyone think the truck she got the shotgun out of was Drayton's truck?

Just a question for everyone, but what is your reaction to the casting of Trey Songz? I don't know much about his career, but most of us have a bad taste in our mouth after Busta's "contribution" to the Halloween franchise.
