I really like it when you have Jamie on the show. She really fits in well and contribute a lot to the show. I haven't seen the original Black Christmas in ages. I'm pretty sure I've never seen it's remake. I'm going to have to watch both soon. I also plan on watching Silent Night Deadly Night and it's remake Silent Night before the show comparing them is released.

I watched the original and remake last night. While I find the original could have used a little editing to pick up the pace of the film I still find it vastly superior to the remake. I had forgotten that Margot Kidder was in this. Wow she's aged poorly. It's hard to believe she's the same actress that played Laurie's Psychiatrist in Rob Zombie's Halloween 2. I liked her in this film. She played quite a bitch. Her claiming fellatio was part of a new phone exchange was funny. Especially since the Deputy fell for it. I loved the mystery of who the killer was. His phone calls were eerie and unsettling. Considering he wasn't caught I wonder why there wasn't a sequel? The remake was just a trashy cliche of a film. I had jaundice as a baby and my skin turned yellow too. I didn't grow up remaining that color and wanting to kill people. LOL It was kind of cool one of the original girls living in the house came back to play the house Mother in the remake. Though her character wasn't as fun as the closet drinking, dirty mouth original. The remake was horrible all around. I'm glad there wasn't a sequel in this case.

I remember hearing that. In a weird way I kind of wish it had happened. Just to see how different it would have been. But in another way I'm glad it didn't. Because we wouldn't have the classic we did get.
