Really looking forward to this. The novel was great and Don Coscarelli directed it. Angus Scrimm even has a small part! Phantasm is my 3rd favorite franchise. So needless to say I like his work. So between a great story and a great director with what looks to be a pretty solid cast I'm psyched!
Anywhoodles here's the trailer.
It looks great! I highly recommend the book. A great read.

John Dies at the End. I had been looking forward to this since reading the book. Don Coscarelli is very talented. For a book I assumed would be almost impossible to make into a film he did an amazing job. Is it perfect? No. But I don't think anyone could have done a better job. For a book that jumps all over the place Coscarelli did an admirable job of making the story flow. If you've read the book you should be pleased. Even if you haven't read the book I'd recommend the film. I rate it a 4 and a half out of five. One of the best films I've seen this year.

Angus Scrimm is getting up there in age, so it is great to see that he is still active in the business. Now they just need to get Phantasm 5 made before he dies.
