A great show. It made me think a lot deeper about the Platinum Dunces TCM's. ;D They had already dropped in my ranking due to liking Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D more. But this show made me realize I was looking at those two films through rose colored glasses. I still love them. But I see more flaws in them than I did before. I agree they definitely made LF the hero of TCM 3D. But I think that's one of the things I love so much about the new film. They were able to make the audience love the villain. That's special and unique to be able to do that. TCM fans, because they are fans, like LF but never before or at least not to this extent have the film makers actively tried to make you root for and love what was the antagonist. The film was made by the fans, for the fans. We need more horror franchises to do that. This has been a great retrospective. I'm happy you 3 did it. Because this franchise doesn't get the love or respect it deserves. These are the first 2 shows I've downloaded to my hard drive. I'm thinking of downloading the Bill Moseley episode too. Because it's semi related to these. So anywhoodles. I loved the 2 shows. Thanks for making them. I know it took a lot of hard work and it's appreciated by this TCM fan.

Thanks man! I thought you'd like the TC3D review! I was shocked they both liked it actually. DIdnt think it was their type.
I am surprised that that is what you took away from the show. I thought Jamie was the only one to really diss the PD TCMs. Dan and I gave it a lot of respect. I do see what you mean though if you are talking on a walkthrough aspect alone. We do tend to point out every last flaw in a film.
I was actually discussing this with Jason (the guy who runs horrorphilia). There are a lot of things that we talk about and criticize that we normally never even noticed or realized while watching the movie like a normal person. Its only when prepping for a show that you feel you gave to really find commentary and you take mental note of it. Things that would normally fall by the side.
I hope us just looking for things to talk about didnt hurt your enjoyment of those movies. We really should take that into consideration while we proceed. Yes its fun to dissect. But are we hurting overall enjoyment. #2ld7qy8#

I LOVED the retrospective and honestly you've made me consider giving the remake another chance since I actually hate it. I felt you guys gave fair scores to TCM3D, Asa TCM fan I'd show anyone who is interested in TCM this retrospective, also I did not know that Tobe Hooper didn't know Ed Gein's name until years later. But, goes to show how freaky enough his story was. Great job!

You didn't hurt my enjoyment of the PD TCM's in the slightest. I still love them both. I will just watch them with a more observational view than I had before. I still think they were well made with fun stories. Don't change a thing about the way you 3 do your shows. They are helping me view movies in new and fresh ways.

Hey no problem! I agree that each film is almost the exact same thing, and while I disagree with your thoughts on TCM 2 I still enjoyed it. Keep up the retrospectives man!
