I've always enjoyed drive in theatres. Does anyone else here feel the same way?

I love drive in theaters. Until last year we had 2 of them in my town. Both shut down at the end of last summer. I'm kind of bummed by that. It's kind of an end to an era. I guess most are closing/closed now. It's a real shame. Because a lot of films that people might not get a chance to see were able to be showcased in the drive ins.

I would go to one if there were any left here. Back when I was a kid, I remember seeing one outside of the city, but that was a long time ago.

I think there's a few left in my area surprisingly.

I love em and miss them dearly.
I grew up in the era where they were going out, but still plentiful.
Last one I went to, I saw the new Borne movie last summer at a drive-in in the desert (29 Palms)overlooking an amazing skyline, mountains and moon. It was easily my most memorable experience even if the movie was crap.

Unfortunately, I've never been to one before.

There's one about 40 minutes away from where I live, and it's being forced to go digital or close.

Unfortunately, I've never been to one before. Same here, but I would love the experience.

I think it's the best way to see a film. I wish the 2 in my area would open again.
