He started the arguement by being a dickhead because I have an opinioin. What's next am I gonna get bashed on because I like Halloween 4? Or that I like TCM 2 and his "facts" say that I shouldn't? I did nothing to the guy, all I did was just mention my opinioin. That's all.

Mentioning Batman on here is like taking beef jerky to a vegan party.
Also, Halloween 4 is a fine (if overrated) movie and TCM 2 is a lot of fun.
I don't hate Burton's movies by any means, as that is saved for B&R, which is so bad that I can't get past the opening credits. Hopefully this reboot after TDKR doesn't make any of those mistakes.

I will admit, B&R was bad. You really can't get past the opening credits? Youre missing out on the cheesiness! lol

Youre missing out on the cheesiness! lol Considering that Arnold is making ice jokes a few minutes into the movie, it gets unbearable fast. I remember when it was on Teletoon a while back and had to convince Jayson that it was a bad movie for kids to watch.

Nolan's films are treated like JGTH on here by most people. Jerry Lawler would call it "bizarro world," as most other places praise them. I am pretty much the only active vocal supporter of them. Point is the movie gave me no hope whatsoever. It uses fast paced heart racing moments well but when I start breaking it down and get past the heart racing and I fin flaws. the IMDB rating has gone down as well I guess with repeated watchings. Everybody was depressed and not the slightest person was happy. And having terrorists as your villians in one city is NOT realistic because the military would be there if that was the case. I have heard most enjoyed Kick Ass much better. A nice blend of realism and actual fun instead of depressing me to wrist cutting.

Well, you seem to be applying your own personal opinions as a mass opinion without any real backing proof. In reality, the general consensus is still very positive towards the movie.

I personally wasn't a huge fan of TDK. It's not a bad film by any means but not the best. But I do own it and I like things from it.

So if your town is full of terrorists, just that city's police would be taking care of it right? How is that an opinion?

No one said that the movie was perfect. None of them are.
However, you are claiming to have substantial proof that it has lost quite a bit of its positive standing among fans and critics. Please show me some of this. I can counter with quite a bit of evidence to the contrary.

I have always liked Pittsburgh's skyline. It was featured in Land Of The Dead, although most of that movie was shot in and around Toronto.

Personally I like the first two films, Batman and Batman Returns as well as The Dark Knight. I do prefer the Burton Batmans because the whole atmosphere seems darker to me. Gotham is a dirty, dark place and I just love having Batman in that setting.

I like this idea to be honest. It's like the comics where everyone has a different take on Batman and each individual brings their own spin to it. Maybe this will allow another interpretation of the Joker to come quicker as well.

As someone who felt Rises was just a bad way to end things, I am curious how they do the reboot, hopefully they get the damn villain right. I'm hoping for The Black Mask, or hell The Mad Hatter.
