As you can tell I'm a little bit of a Batman fan and a huge Comic fan and with the movie to end all movies just a little more than a month down the road, they're is still much to be discussed, before and after the movie releases.
Tickets go on sale tommrrow, anybody picking them up?

Indeed I am sir for the IMAX midnight release. I don't think it will beat The Avengers for best superhero movie of the year but it should still be great.

This is my most anticipated movie of the year. I will be seeing in IMAX, just like with The Dark Knight. In terms of what I am expecting, it will be very hard to top TDK as my favorite superhero film, but everything I have seen points to something that is just as good.

I looked to preorder Imax for midnight this morning and was unable too, just the standered release has showed up thus far, maybe this will change after I get back from seeing Prometheus, either way I know I havn't missed out yet since Fandago hasn't listed them yet

I'm looking forward to seeing it more than I did TDK. Will catch it on DVD.

I'm quite excited for this. I'll probably avoid the opening day crowds and wait a shot while to see it. In fact I believe it comes out exactly one week before my birthday so I may just go on my birthday so I can wrangle a free ticket from friends or family. #cheap

I will wait a week or two to see it. Big crowds just aren't my thing.

from the looks of it my only IMAX theater I have in my area isn't even having a midnight showing, just in the digital normal theater. Although they are doing a marathon of Batman Begins, TDK and then leading up to TDKR so I might go to that, it would be fun and it would be sweet to see Batman Begins and TDK on the big screen again

I am the biggest fan of the first 2... but Im I the only one here who thinks the trailers look absolutely terrible? I mean talk about boring.... also bad casting with CatWoman.... jeez..
I know about 2-3 other people who agree... although we all have high hopes as we all love the new BatMans

I liked the first, didn't care for the second and having been in this ( it was fun) but Bane's voice was just as goofy in person than it is in the trailers.

Rob Zombie said that he had no input when they advertised his Halloween films and much of the promotion didn't accurately represent what the movies were about, especially in the case of RZH2. I am not going to give up on the movie based on what some people at Warner Bros. think it is about. Tom Hardy looks menacing as Bane and I actually like Anne Hathaway.

I prefer the old Batman movies compared to the newer ones. I mainly want to see this one for Tom Hardy and Anne Hathaway.

The anti-Nolan sentiment runs strong on CLAD, one of the few places that overly prefers Burton.

I agree with d3mon that the trailers look pretty underwhelming but I have faith in Nolan. Love the first two and Inception and The Prestige were superb IMO. <---Nolan Fanboy

I absolutely prefer Burton's 1989 Batman to TDK. I loved Batman Begins. Probably more than any of the sequels that came after the 89 film. TDK was just disappointing to me. Pretty much the only thing I liked about that was Two-Face. I want to see TDKR. I love Tom Hardy and the Bane character. I enjoyed the comics he first appeared in. I hope they treat the character better in this than the last time he appeared in a Batman film.

I love Nolan BatMan waaaaaaaaaaaay better than Burtons. Part 1 was okay but it really didnt take it very far. Has classic scenes and imagery but the Joker barely did anything. Like I said it's classic though... definitely doesnt hold up IMO action wise. Not at all. TDK was a roller coaster of action. In 1989 they just couldnt do those things.
As far as Catwoman goes for the new one coming out... Hathaway is sexless... they shoulda went with Eva Mendez... that's the obvious win win choice IMO

They personally bore me to death with this attempt at "realism" which kills it for me. If Terrorists are in town, where is the army?

I don't hate what Jack did, but you can tell that the role was heavily customized to his personality type. I can already tell from the trailers that he is nothing like the lame version we got in B&R.
