I just saw an interesting poll. Would it be better if Batman lives or dies in this movie?

I say DIES. That would be pretty unique.

I think he'll live. But he DOES have a cane in some of the more recent spots so he may get the back breaker.

He will live. No question. He may be all beat up to hell, but he'll live.

I think he will live, no particular reason why, I've tried to stay away from all the spoliers and tv spots so there's a lot I probably havn't seen but i never like going into a movie with any idea of how it might play out

I think he'll live too guys, but Stinger didn't ask if we think he'll live or die, she asked which would be better.

Personally, I would find it just a little much if he died. I mean I wouldn't mind but I think it would be trying too hard to be uber dramatic.

This is Nolan's last Batman movie, so the ending should be very final, whether he dies or gets beaten up really badly. I am fine with both possibilities.
It isn't like Batman is going away anytime soon, as they will reboot the franchise in a few years.

Honestly, I'm just not that excited for it.

I think it would be cool if he dies. If he lives I hope he has some kind of surgery to fix that robotic voice. ;D Its so distracting.

I remember Nolan saying he wants it to be a "very final" ending to the series as Jeremy points out. It should be good either way though.

Honestly, I'm just not that excited for it. Are you excited for any Batman movie that Tim Burton doesn't direct? He had his time with the franchise and now it is over. Soon, a new director will take over for Nolan, and I bet that some people will complain that they don't copy Burton enough. Yeah, I am really looking forward to it, but I am not setting my expectations way too high. As long as it is entertaining and well made, I will be happy.

I was excited for batman begins. In fact I loved Batman Begins, Dark Knight just didn't do much for me. This one just doesn't excite me, probably after i saw Avengers. I do find it absolutely ridiculous that they're making Nolan the " Overseer" of The JLA film, this is the same guy who claimed that Batman and Superman should never meet on film. And the same guy who claims " Batman doesn't play well with others." Really?

He made the first billion dollar Batman movie and Inception was a blockbuster despite its complexity. The movies he makes are incredibly profitable and critically acclaimed, so of course they want him involved. Like it or not, he is one of the best directors in the business right now and pretty much everything he touches turns to gold. Those who try to take away from his accomplishments are in a small minority.

I never said he was a bad director, the only reason why everyone praises him is because he's the first to make Batman 100% serious. I do want to see another director's take on a more faithful version of Batman. And not a Batman who is a hypocritical murderer. But to finally put this stupid ass fight to an end, lets agree to disagree. I like Batman (1989) and you like The Dark Knight. ENOUGH! Jesus Fucking Christ...

In Nolan We Trust.
They'd be crazy not to want him involved. And I agree with Nolan that Batman's better solo. Not saying JLA won't be good, just not how I prefer him.

As a Nolan fan, I actually think of Inception and The Prestige way before I think of the batman movies. Those are two of my favorite movies of the last 10 years.

If my memory serves me right, Nolan hasn't had a box office flop or critical failure in his career yet. Inception is an incredible film that I will never get tired of watching.
