www.imdb.com/title/tt1764651/PLOT: Mr. Church reunites the Expendables for what should be an easy paycheck, but when one of their men is murdered on the job, their quest for revenge puts them deep in enemy territory and up against an unexpected threat. MY TAKE: I know alot of people might have different views, but I'm excited for this one. I've been anxiously awaiting to see 1 thing, & 1 thing only is the Showdown between Stallone vs. Van Damme(Track em, find em, Kill em!!! ;D.....yea he ain't going down without a fight). I can't wait for Friday. TRAILER: *PUMPED

I'm excited that my theater is actually getting this. I was bummed because we didn't get Total Recall or the Bourne Legacy.

As a person who lived through and loved the 80's these kinds of movies are a lot of fun. Looking forward to seeing this.

I want to see Steven Seagal in one of these. He is much more entertaining than Van Damme ever was IMHO.

This movie needs everybody as far as I'm concern, but only those who qualify to being EXPENDABLE.
When you have Brian Tyler as the composer, you are in for a treat. Did anyone listen to the Expendables 2 OST, if not check it out.

Watched this opening day (as I do all Arnold movies) it was amazing! They went a little far with the nods to their 80s movies. Especially with Arnold. Its almost all he said believe it or not. But when he does it you just gotta love him. Amazing movie though. It really is solid and had a great plot. Van Damn was bad ass. Really wish Segal was in this one. He's an asshole for letting a grudge against a producer stop him from being an amazing part of film history.

I'm going in a couple of hours. I'm actually getting more excited to see Van Damme than Arnold.
This movie was awesome! Van Damme did a great job and I freakin loved Chuck Norris!! He stoled the show to me! The Chinese food joke got a big chuckle from the audience. ;D My only complaint would be I wish Jet Li was in more of the movie. It would be cool to see Carl Weathers in one of these films.

I forgot to post my thoughts.
Two words "Van Damme"
- Arnold & Stallone is a treat as always to watch, especially having Arnold around this time away from politics & back into action. Every move & everything he says, it feels like time didn't pass. You see the other guys around but you do not get to see Chuck & Arnold go back in time. Its kind of nice to jog back those memories.
- I'm disappointed in Jet Li appearances in the movie, very limited.
Carl Weathers would definitely be a nice candidate to add.

My theater has this as the poster on its website. I think its kind of false advertisement. Arnold is only in a small portion of the film. If I didn't know anything about these movies I would assume he was the main star. What do you guys think?

I agree, they all were featured on a poster like that to draw the rush. It was worth my money though mainly because Van Damme stole the plot. I was reading an article the other day and they had interviewed Van Damme and asked him about his take. He said it was great. He grew up on Rambo, Rocky , Terminator etc. "I did not wanted to be around the others, talk, mingle off set". This was all for the fans, I had to be/act different from the others & man did it show.
