This looks like it might be an interesting retelling of Superman. I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Looks too...dark and angsty. Just doesn't scream Superman to me. :/

Three words: billion dollar Batman. These studios aren't as stupid as they seem, and when a superhero movie does that well in theaters, the executives will take notice.

Well Nolan is an executive producer. So obviously his style would influence the film. I'm cool with a darker Superman.

I like that he is part of the movie too. He hasn't released a commercial or critical flop yet.

I'm happy for Henry Cavill. I have a feeling I'm going to like this movie more than the original ones. Now if only Supergirl could have a cameo. I loved that movie as a kid.

It isn't too hard to beat most of the sequels. I have a hard time watching Quest For Peace.

Looks pretty good. I've never liked Superman at all so we'll see if its good enough to make me forget that.

The first 2 Superman movies are just about perfect. Very few superhero movies are better. I think this has a chance to be amazing because it's obvious they aren't trying to copy those films. The originality alone gives it a chance to impress me.

Superman always seemed too goody goody to me. Maybe a darker one would be appealing.

The point of Superman IS that he's a goody goody. Batman is the opposite of Superman. Making him dark and brooding and angsty like Batman is just making Batman have a different pair of tights and super powers.

Even being darker doesn't mean he can't still be goody goody. Batman has goody goody qualities too. Like not using a gun and trying not to kill.

My point was that everyone has skeletons in their closet, and this is what makes a lot of suoerheroes more relatable.

I enjoyed Superman's portrayal in the Justice League animated series. He had his moments here and there, but he never really caught on with me... until this scene:

I wouldn't say history in the making, but it'll be a fun time. And it'll be interesting to see the various references to Hal Jordan and Bruce Wayne that are rumors right now.
