It used to be really cool, especially in the 90's during the whole UFO craze. But when the host Art Bell left, it just went down hill. But there is a stream that runs 24/7 with nothing but Art Bell's shows, pretty awesome. Makes me wish I was older in the 1990's so I could've listened to it in it's heyday.

I tried listening to the new host, George Noory I believe. He sucks, a lot. I loved when Art Bell was the host. He was almost always entertaining. Where is this stream of the old shows? I'd love to listen to them.

www.fineartstream.com/ Runs 24/7. I personally like George Knapp, he seems genuinely interested in the subject matter, but isn't on a whole lot.

Thanks!
Bell is so disgusted with what the show has become he wants his name removed from the shows website. It may have been by now. LOL

I don't blame Bell at all, Bell always had a classiness to him, always entertaining and intelligent. He clearly seemed to enjoy talking about the topics on the show, though it is interesting to know that he faced controversy over the Heaven's Gate mass suicide since the group often listened to the show and they heard on the show that a UFO was trailing Hale Bopp. Despite the fact that Art denied it was true.

I remember that. I guess a lot of people want the world to end. Because it seems someone is always saying it's going to. Humanity may end. But the world will still be here for billions of years.

I've got to start listening then. I love the aliens/ufo shows. That guy calling in saying he was going to fly a plane over Area 51 then supposedly got shot down was awesome!
I really miss Art Bell. Good times.

I love that one, the one with the alleged former area 51 employee was a classic as well.

He's an amazing interviewer. Who is able to hold great conversations out of anyone. He also has a great radio voice. He was inducted into the radio Hall of Fame back in 08. Very deserving IMO.

Art always keeps my attention, you can tell that he studies each topic he discusses thoroughly. Not many people can do that.

He obviously has a genuine interest in the topics he discusses. Camper killed for reminding me about him.

No problem, my favorite show of all time is a tie between the bigfoot shooter interview, and the Jim Keith interview about the Men In Black, shame he died.

Didn't Art find out that the hole was somewhere in Nebraska?

I'm pretty sure through the many phone calls Art and Mel had together the state it was in was mentioned. I can't remember which one though. It's bee a lot of years. LOL I remember the talk of something like 80,000 feet of weighted fishing line going in without touching bottom. Which is of course ridiculous. The line would have snapped once the weight of it got to be too much. The coolest thing about the calls was the talk of people that had thrown their dead animals into it only to have them reappear later. Very Pet Sematary like. ;D Oh, and of course the many times through the years Art would get a call from fans of the show trying to find it.
